they keep calling me and not leaving a msg.

They called me twice today. I answered on the second time and the call was instantly dropped (or hung up). This happens to me from all kinds of phone numbers from around the united states. At least every 2 months or so. No messages. Nobody on the otherline. They just call until I answer and then the call goes dead. I want to know what the purpose of this is.

i called this back and it's the statesman journal (oregon newspaper)... probably trying to sell a subscription.

thanks for letting us know it's the statesman journal newspaper.  I have been ignoring calls from this number for months (2012975287)...i am from Salem, OR, and will be sure to answer next time and tell them to knock it off..

I've received several calls from this number in the last couple of days.

I got a call from this number today... missed call, no voice mail.

The information I can find says it's a landline in New Jersey. Weird.

I've also received several calls from this number. I called back and it is indeed a newspaper. Wth?

They called my house yesterday and I am in AZ

This is a ploy to get you to call back they act like there was a disconnect but the purpouse is so they don't have to pay the long distance because you're calling them. If you call that number at some random time using *67 you'll get a confused sales rep you can mess with :) They seem to be selling news paper subscriptions for many different newspapers they're based in Closter, NJ I don't know the company name yet.

The email address schema for this company is firstname.lastname@cirtech.us for example robert landis is robert.landis@cirtech.us. The phone number for their corporate office is 480-926-5379. I heard Robert goes by the name of Bob so call and let Bob know you don't appreciate the hangups. Have fun!!

They called me today, I answered and nobody said anything.

Received a voicemail leaving me this number to call, once on 1/13/2011 and 1/17/2011.  The calling number was actually a Tucson, AZ number (520 area code).  I live in Tucson.

Both messages seemed to be partial messages, my guess is intentionally.  It goes something like "..do not need to return this call, for questions call 201-297-5287."  And that is it.  I think the ploy is to make you think you've missed a message from something important and get you to call back.

Undoubtedly this is a telemarket call that I receive on my cell phone.As usual no message left.Is't there some way to report these calls to proper authorities?  I am on the Do Not Call list  supposedly.

I work on a switchboard and this number has called about 20 times.  Each time I answer I get a hangup.  Please make it stop!!

I work at a bank and when they call, it rings on 3 lines all at once and they all hang up as soon as you answer them. They've called 5 times today, and those are the times that I've answered the phone... Seriously....

I've received numerous calls from this number and I live in CA! No message left, just a missed call. Thankfully to all of your posts...I will continue to ignore!! Seriously, what is the point of these calls???
