They threatened me

They called me , saying we had a pending lawsuit and we would be turned over to county court.

They also called me , saying they had a pending lawsuit and I would be turned over to county court unless I called them.

Called at 8:40 AM and 9:38 AM requesting return call is before case is filed in county court.

Called me 3 times in the past 2 hours with the same message as everyone else: call back to avoid having a tax lawsuit filed against my name.

Repeated hourly voicemails with automated voice containing same messages as above. Blocking this number

Called 5 times today and left automated message, same as above.

Same message, I called back to say stop calling me and they threatened me and called me by my first name. Scary.

Message: "This call is to inform about a lawsuit which has been filed on your name. So before we go with legal matter and send this case to the local county court house, kindly call us back on our number which is (201) 297-5455. I repeat it; (201) 297-5455. Thank you and goodbye."
If you receive the call, simply call and ask the person the address from which they are calling and how you can assist them. They are very inexperienced and have a very short list of scripted replies. I began auto calling the number last night. After about 200 calls, the person with whom I was speaking (Korean gentleman) apologized for the calls and asked that I please stop calling and ignore any future calls. He also noted the phone numbers being robo-called change weekly.
So, give them the same grief they are giving you and they may just get sick of calling you as well. :-)

201 297 5455 - 6 calls to my cell today! 8:27am, 9:23am, 11:09am, 12:04pm, 1:47pm, & 4:35pm. I did not answer any. Per my cell call history, this is the first, hopefully, only day of calls from this number I will received.   An Automated VM was left after each call.     VM records: "...law suit which has been filed on your name so before we go on legal matter and send this case to the local county court house kindly call us back on our number which is 201 297 5455. I repeat it 201 297 5455. - It's another phone scam pretending to be the IRS, based on comments above. I will block the calls!

If you have face book they can get your name even in public records !

Threatened a lawsuit from New Jersey....when I live in California.  Weirdos.

I've been called about 5 times today and it's only 1PM. They keep leaving a message to call them back but nothing about a law suit like you all have said.

I've received 5 calls so far today between 9am and 3pm starting he's law enforcement with IRS and im. being sued and to call them as soon as possible. I also heard a, high pitch beep as i listened to the recording.

We got a call from that number also. I was told that the IRS will never call you. I really wish these people would use their energy to go out and look for a REAL job

Same message here.  Funny thing is, I'm in Canada, and we don't have the IRS.

Received call.7/7/17 left message it was muffled but said there's a case! Call us at 201 297 5455 said number twice sounded pre recorded!

Same message as others have received.  They called my landline phone at 5:44 pm.  I tried to call them back on my cell phone, and it wouldn't ring through.  If this continues, I will block it, too, as the IRS NEVER calls people.  Just another stupid scam.

Caller mentioned the IRS but gave no further information. Just left the number to call.
