I got this message which seems to be referring to an item I had posted on a local website. How this "medical doctor" from New Jersey was able to find it (it was posted in a Utah classified ads), it beats me. So here is the text from this number..."Well, I have a little problem of getting it in person, as I'm a Medical Doctor with busy duty here in NJ and I want the item to be shipped to one of my clients in W-A Lagos 23401 as a present and I have confirmed the shipment...(oops my phone just died.. but you can figure out the rest..)"
I even replied to his SMS and his replywas weird and dodged my question...

this number cant be scam,i do business with the owner of it every week

He tried to purchase a laptop from me for his son, but could not meet in person, nor give any information away. He only wanted my paypal account. I gave him my brothers, who works in the fraud department. He can't wait to meet him.

Also, as for "Nathan" and "Japhet", it is obviously him, googling his number and seeing the power of the internet is messing up his childish, poor attempt at being a scam.

Had the same thing happen to me just now!!!! Very fishy!

This big scam just trick me and I sent to the shipping address I got from a fake PayPal email and now I am victim this big scam that just make fraud and playing around with the people and with his son that maybe isn't true as well. I report this person all I can Canada, Nigeria, US police. PayPal, google, scam and fraud site because isn't possible that people like that exist

I am speaking to this person right now via SMS. They responded to my ad selling a camera in Ottawa, ON.  They told me they are looking to buy it for their daughter. They will only do it through PayPal. I asked for $500 OBO and he asked what my best price is. I said I'd do it for $400, and he said $500 is fine.  That's when I googled and found this site.

i just sold my 10 mac book 12inch laptops to this buyer via paypal and now i have got the cash.....it is not scam am sure

Previously, when he tried to buy projector for which i wanted $355 - he insisted on sending on $500 by paypal, which he did. At that he text messaged from 1-413-366-1789. He gave a address for his to ship too. Once his scam was called - he said he will report me to the RCMP. Told him go fu"cker

I was in on this fu#ckers scam from day one, when he suggested he will send more than i was asking.

Today he called me - he has a foreign accent. He is likely Muslim/Tamil with a heavy accent too.

WHY IS THIS LINE NOT BEING CUTOFF BY THE TELEPHONE COMPANY WITH THE NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS - REGISTERED HERE?

The same person in question said he was living in kigston but was out of town on business.  Lmao.  As soon as he sent the e-transfer e-mail and there was extra money I knew it was a rip off.  Plus the fact that an e-transfer doesn't ask for a shipping tracking number which this one wanted.  Am in the process of giving all information that I have to the canadian anti fraud department.
