Got a call on my home phone 2 hours ago.  They didn't leave a message but got the number from my caller id.  Called it back and it says the number is disconnected.

I got a call from this number too. No message. got number from my caller id too.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Caller didn't leave a message, but got the number from caller ID.  Called the number back to hear a recorded message that the number is disconnected. Sketchy....

I also got the call from this number. Picked up but disconnected. Called back but it's a non working number.

Got a call from this no, no msg left..looks like a scam after reading earlier posts.

I answered this and a recording said this is Heather, and was calling about my credit card account, she said nothing is wrong but needed. ...so I hung up.

Didn't recognize the number and didn't answer.

Unfortunately I answered the call...I shouldn't have.  They called me about lowering my interest rate on my credit card.  They asked me to confirm my credit card which made me uncomfortable so I said I would prefer to do that directly through the credit card company at which point they weren't really nice about it and said they weren't asking for any information they didn't already have (they did have the last amount I paid and the date).  I called my credit card company and reported it.  They said it didn't come from them but could be a company looking to buy the debt and the information probably came from a credit report they ran on me.  No thank you.

This old spoofed number is CURRENTLY being used by the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

I got this on my land line. It was recorded call offering to lower the interest rate on my credit card.
1) They didn't specify which one. I have a few.
2) They offered to lower to an astonishingly low percentage.

Too good to be true, I hung up. Look at these entries, I'm glad I did.

Didn't answer the call, but I did a search on it. At one time, it belonged to a member of the Military Transport Assoc. of North Jersey.

From a 2009 newsletter;

"...the events coordinator on the website, or call Peter Schindo, 201-348-7565 daytime..."

I'm guessing it is no longer his.

received a call from this number on my cell phone and didn't answer. Caller id said New Jersey. no message.

Just got this call. Calling from my credit card company. Didn't specify which one. Offered to lower my rate to 6.5%. And it was my "Final warning". Final? when was my first? lol. Total scam.

Thanks for the info.  Number has been blocked.

Got the same call from that number - but it was cut off after 8 seconds & had to look it up because I didn't have enough information about the call.  BLOCKED FROM MY CELL PHONE.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

Random call to a business telephone from UNKNOWN at 3:20 p.m. on a Saturday. No message left.

Received a call from this number, no message. Realizing after reading these posts, it was a scam that pretends to be a credit card company. Also received an email from them.
