barely a ring on my cell at 5:11 pm EDT. Showed as a missed call...  

Strange - almost everyone saying barely long enough to register a ring and all today

called it back..said i visited some site recently and they are rewarding me with a $100 gift card ...its bogus. just press #2 to be on the do not call list

Says on caller ID from Newark, NJ.  If you answer the call, then they will instantly hang up.

They call me several times a week, so I finally called them back.

When you call the number back, they say you have won a $100 dollar rebate card (load of crap)...anyways press #2 and they will put you on their do not call list.

My husband and I both received calls (missed) from this number today. My husband doesn't give out his cell # to anyone but friends and family, and I give mine out rarely as well.

No message -

Like a few others, I received a call that was barely long enough for my phone to ring, then it just showed up as a missed.  Must be a scam or something.

Its a telemarketer.  Call them back and option 2 will (supposedly) remove you from their dBASE.  I don't know if it actually happens, but that's what their recording says.

Unknown phone call

got a call, but no one on other end. Then I called the number and it tells me I have won $100 rebate. Yeah right, just for visiting a website. Why do these people call up, even cell #s now and we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST for home and cell ?????
