Wow this is the most helpful of the sites so far!! I've had 7 different numbers call me 11 times in the past two days and have been trying to figure out how to block them so thanks!!

They call me and call us everyday.
How can i stop them.?

calls began 11/6/07 11:36 pm ,11/7/07 10:34 Am, there is a long pause when i answer, then i get pissed off and just hang up. further details to follow.
ps there are never any voice mails from them whatsoever.

I too am getting these calls, haven't answered yet, my number is unlisted so I'm really not happy.

i said i was not home! so i have no idea who jayshree is thats waht the name appeard on caller id i dont know the number so i say im dont live here...

u all keep getting a guy i got a woman who even pronounced my name wrong and then when i told her i wasent around they just went away

They started calling me yesterday morning and it continued throughout the day.  It's always "Please hold.  You have a call from this number," and then it cuts off.  Really annoying.

201-373-8371 calls my cellphone twice daily.

i just recieved a call today from this # id says jayshree. whats strange is that our number is listed under my boyfriends name and when i answered it the guy said my name, and then he hung up. whats going on

I keep getting calls and they hang up.  Hit *60 and type in there number and it will be blocked.  Also hit *57 and a report will go to the police department.  I'm on the DNC list also. It's time we get them!!

I keep getting a call on my home phone from a JAYSHREE @ 201-373-8371.  I have calleed this numner back finally since i am sick of seeing the number on the caller ID.  When I picked up and said HELLO the party dropped.  I tried to call the number back and I get a recording that the number you have reached is a NON working numnber.  

Everyone be careful with this as well as other numbers.  I am in communications and I am finding this is happening more and more especially with people who have 800 numbers.  These people will keep hacking you and you will keep getting charged for the call.

Hi Again -

This is my 3rd post.  I posted two comments yesteday 11/19/07.  

I recieved another call from JAYSHREE last night @ 8:08 pm.  I was not home at the time, nor did they leave a message.  Ironiaclly enough, my caller ID deleted the previous call date and time.  I find that interesting.  

I was on my way out the door and the phone rang, I looked at the caller ID and it was JAYSHREE.  I picked up the phone and disguised my voice.  I said HELLO.....someone responded a male's voice sounded Indian, he asked for me....I said who's calling...he said Peter from DIRECT MARKETING..I said is that so PETER...It just so happens that I know you are a phony (FRAUD) and there are 475 complaints listed against you and I know that you are calling from a LAND LINE in NJ (Hackensack/Little Ferry area) and I would appreciate if you would STOP calling me and everyone else.

He was silent, said sorry and just hung up.

All you folks need to go on web and find the FCC site TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act). Study it and the tell these birds that you are advising them under TCPA NOT TO CALL YOU AGAIN. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A ESTABLISHED BUSINESS WITH THEM, IT IS THEN A FEDERAL VIOLATION FOR THEM TO CALL YOU.  Then you complaints go to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

I get a call several times a day from this phone number.  They always ask for different people. I asked staff to stop calling but it does not phase them.  I still get at least 2-3 calls per day.

received a call from this number this afternoon at about 1 o'clock EST time. Told male caller to stop calling me, that i was sick of receiving these calls. He hung up on me. Can anyone tell me ANYTHING about this number! The caller doesn't leave messages and wont let me talk!

I've gotten several calls on my cellphone from 201-373-8371.  I haven't answered it thought.  I'm a sucker and have used my real number online, when voting or registering for sites.  Well, when I voted for a tv show this last time, I put this # down instead of mine.  Let the telemarketers start calling themselves! Tee hee.

Add me to the list of people Jayshree is targeting. It's only been once so far as I know. They called today but didn't leave a message. I saw the number on the Caller ID and looked it up, only to get the same info. everyone else here. Glad to know at least I'm not alone.

Just got a call at 9:55am from 201-373-8371. Funny thing is I'm in Ireland and it was 4:55am in NH.
