- ScambamWow this one is getting old. These urchins have resurfaced again. Land line last week verizon cell line this week. Spoof caller from "Heather", not "Rachel" this time at credit card services. Press #1 to lower your CC rate to as low as 6.9%. Indian guy with bad connection, Probably a spoofed number Voice over IP. Now using familiar/close area codes and exchanges to the numbers they call to have a better chance of you picking up. This,(201-391-xxxx) is a North New Jersey area code and exchange. Their "business model" is to cruise the employment web sites where people post their resume with phone numbers. They assume since you are looking for work you may be out of work and fallen behind financially, now being open to any help you can get - this is what they prey on. Scam to get CC info to use fraudulently or sell you a debt lowering scheme with exorbitant fees for the service. BTW blocking usually is a waste of time since they re-spoof numbers on a daily basis.

- ScamForSurePress #1 to lower your interest rate on your existing credit card. I press 1 and "heather" answers. I asked her if this was to lower it on my existing card and she replied, "yes". She said I have a balance of over 3k on my credit cards and I told her that's incorrect. I asked her what my credit card was and she hung up on me.
This is definitely a scam. Do NOT give out any personal information... on second thought, don't even answer the phone.- Caller: Scam

- hatethesecallsReceived message on my cell about lowering my cc rate to as low as 6% but did not leave name of credit card or company. When I tried to call back to have them take me off heir list I only got three or four tones and then the call ended. I hope these people making these scam calls get decapitated in a motor vehicle accident on their way to pick up their kids from school.
