IRS issues

got a call from 201-419-6091, but let it go to voicemail.  only got about half of message, but says they are IRS and to call them back immediately because of time sensitive info.  is this just another scam?  wouldn't the IRS leave an 800 number with an extension to call back?  lemme know, thanks.

They claim to be from the IRS.  Pretty sure it's a scam.

Got part of a voicemail from 201-419-6091 stating it was IRS.  The IRS will ALWAYS send you a letter, so don't call back until you get the letter.  I assume this number is a SCAM.

claimed to be from IRS but synthesized voice and the message was not in grammatical English.  Reported it to FTC scams impersonating a federal, state, or local government official.

Tell # 1(201)419-6091 calling 4 times a day, finally left  a message calling IRS on hot line due to an open investigation . I know this is scam line.

Similar to the phone number 201-535-4777, they have been aggressively calling me with an automated voice message saying claiming they are they IRS. I called back and snidely asked what they wanted. The guy on the line asked what my name  phone number was. I laughed and stated that "YOU called ME." I told them, if they were really the IRS, they would know who called and would easily ID me without me stating so. I also told them to quit calling me and quit scamming people. He immediately said "YOU [***]" in some kind of Indian/Pakistani/Middle Eastern/Northern African accent and hung up. Go ahead and report this number, I can't wait for them to stop calling me because this is getting old.

2014196091 this number is calling me none stop and leaving the same voice msg that your name is in serious investigation from IRS and call us back I haven't called them back yet , the msg sounds a scam,it's a loud msg to pressurize someone. I have no idea how to stop them from calling me. Smh

This person CLAIMS to be with the IRS. When asked where he is located, he says Washington, DC. Then got VERY belligerant with me and started cussing at me. I asked his name again and then he said "I am your father".

yes middle eastern trash. its irs scam. I called them pork eating scumbags and they yelled.

I have received this message to call the IRS twice this morning.  I don't answer unknown calls so it is on my answering machine.  The man says it is urgent that I call the IRS number he gives.

called the number and asked the guy to tell me who i was as they called me he tried to tell me a number to call if i had a problem and i told him i did not belive he was with the IRS as he was not American and he said F*** you B*****

The IRS will never call you. They will send official letters by usps.

Said they are from the IRS and are going to file a lawsuit against me .

IRS scam-ignore it and do not call them back.
