They keep calling even after I told them they have the wrong number. So annoying!

This is a "spoofed" number.  That means the number that actually calls tricks your caller id into seeing a different number. Whole lot of trouble for some one to go through and then not say anything when you answer the phone. Blocked the number.

Called and hung up.

Number called, and hung up without any message, or automated voice trying to sell something...will block if received again.

got a call from this mortage refinance program lady was snotty.  this is the 3rd call in 2 days from solicitors someone just let loose on my number she claims I refinanced my home within a year thats why they have my number. BS I didnt and if I did why would I want to do it again?????? UGH!!! there otta be a law against solicitors if I want something I will call them. Im on a do not call list I shut off my home phone because of abusive solicitors  what else can I do? Now they are calling my cell phone.  and I am on a do not call list for that.

This is a collection agency staffed with bottom feeders who have no life. They can't obtain or hold a real job so they call people and ask dumb questions. Tell them to hold on then hang up.

It was a missed call and when I called it back, it wouldn't let me leave any message.  Said it didn't accept them.

received a call from this number.  showed up as "No Name".  no message, nothing.  I blocked it.

Someone from "Mortgage Now." I told her never to call me again, ever. She seemed surprised. Will report them to FTC.

Same as last time, called and hung up. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Like almost everyone above this number called me and seemed to hang up.  What it actually is, is a calling machine that dials a lot of numbers.  If you wait long enough someone will come on and try to sell
you something, and it could be almost anything.  The political parties use the same machines and
they are not obliged to follow the rules of the Do Not Call List.  Who this number is?  I don't have a clue
and could care less.  I don't have to hang up because I never answer an unknown number in the first place
and the do not call list is a bunch of crap!.

Same as above just hang up and go on with life.

This number called; showed Jersey City, NJ 201-448-3783.. After I answered, a man came on and asked for my husband by first name. Would not leave a message when I told him husband was not available.

Must be a small time operation operating out of somebody's house.  I got a 3 second message on my machine.  Some little kid in the background starting to really wind up and the mommy voice that made the call saying "You're all right . . . " <click>   Buster got a boo-boo and that was a higher priority than harassing me, lol.

Called my cell -- some mortgage of finance company and asked for somebody else.  I unloaded on her -- cell phone, on do not call list(by definition), etc.  She hung up on me.  I felt bad about that because a few months ago somebody seem to have pranked me and a similar company and I explained and had no more calls.  From reading the above it seems that I might have done the right thing even though there is no reason to be rude to a stranger.

They called my husbands number & apparently asked for me. by the time I got to the phone they had hung up.
