These idiots keep calling back to back every few minutes instead of just leaving a message. I am blocking them.

Got a call, no message left.

This is from "cardholder services" asking me to press 1 to talk to someone about lowering my interest rate - this is my final warning!

Well, I pressed 1. "Sarah" answered. I told her that my number is registered on the do not call list and that their repeated calling is in direct violation of that and that I've asked them to remove me before. The line went dead.

Why isn't "scam" a listed call type below?? Because that's what this is...

I do not answer calls from unknown numbers such as 201-485-6880.  Left no msg.

"Bridget from Cardholder Services" - why can't someone get this company shut-down?!?  They bounce from number to number to number and they ignore every do-no-call list there is... what will it take to shut down these criminals?!?

Received a call from 201-485-6880.  Caller id said '2014856880'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.  Based on the prior comments, I'm glad I didn't answer this one.

Another new number for Card Member Services.  These scamming dolts literally call from new numbers every day.  Does no good whatsoever, though, because I have blocked almost every area code in the U.S.  Thanks to technology, they will not ring a phone I pay for at will, with the intent of stealing from me yet, just because they can.

Called at 1:24 PM. ID said "Consumer SVCS" so no doubt Rachel is up to her old tricks with a new spoofed number.

The scamming bimbo called again today, so after four Consumer SVCS numbers (2 PA and 2 FL) dropped off a week ago, I've gained this new daily nuisance from Wyckoff, NJ.  The pests tend to call five days a week for about two months before giving up and switching to all new numbers.  I expect about three new numbers to join this one shortly.  Bummer.

The phone number and the name of the woman on the illegal pre-recorded message changes but the scam is still the same.  Now it's "Carmen" from "cardholder services" trying to phish for our credit card info.  Bite me, "Carmen."  

DO NOT press any numbers with these kinds of calls.  If you engage with them in any way (talk to them, press any numbers) they will call you even more.  I've discovered this the hard way.  Just hang up.  You have to remember that these are scam artists.  They don't care if you don't want them to call.  If you press any number or speak with them all you are doing is confirming the number is valid and there's someone at the other end willing to pick up the phone.

These idiots call at least 3-4 times a day. Leave no message. This is harassment and it needs to stop. I am going to turn them into do not call

This scam call from Card Member Services at 201-485-6880 and numerous other numbers such as 240-394-5719 and 209-782-8675. These maggots have been identified by federal authorities as fund raisers for terrorist organizations.  If you receive repeated calls from Card Member Services, you might want to call 202-225-0100 to report them.  Ask for Nancy and have her put you on the list to trace these terrorist phone scammers so they can be put out of business and deported or jailed.

Cardmember Services  is calling for your personal data to steal it and use to fund illegal activities against Americans. The way to fix this annoying problem of scam-callers and telemarketers is to vote AGAINST every politician who is currently in office.  Why?  Because we already have laws to protect us from these scammers, and the incompetent career politicians who are currently in office have done nothing to enforce the laws we sent them to enforce.  You can make a difference on Primary and General Election Days by voting against EVERY politician in office, by firing them all, and by replacing them with new blood.
 
If you do not fire these political morons, we will continue to receive these abusive and annoying illegal scam calls from the maggots known as telemarketers, a product of the career politicians who aren't doing the jobs we hired them to do.  Please be a true American and vote against ALL incumbents! If you are a religious person, please join me in this prayer for these tele-scammers and the politicians who've done nothing to stop these criminals from harassing us:

Heavenly Almighty, we call on You to strike down these phone scammers by infecting them with ebola and covering their carcasses with buckets of pig vomit to smother them in their own excrement.  Deliver them and their loved ones to the fires of hell for all of eternity, for they are the scum of the earth who bring filth and crime to our homeland under the guise of their evil greed.  Cast them into nothingness for all time on behalf of their victims so we know their bones will rot in darkness and their flesh will crawl in the slime of gagging maggots.  We ask that You condemn all telephone and credit card scammers today and everyday, and that they cohabitate in cursed perpetuity with career politicians like Pelosi and Reid and McConnell and Landrieu in the dung of the citizens they have not protected, we pray, Amen.

I know it's a scam. When I reply wit anything other than credit card information, I am cursed, hung up on. Blocking does no good as they change the number and name as to who it registers it is from. It even said it was my own number calling. DO NOT give them any information. It has registered as Consumer Sucs also.

ID was "consumer services", but they were actually running the life alert scam.  Had a call a few minutes earlier from the credit card scammer.... and these are actually the same group of people (they run all sorts of scams).  For us, the calls always come through in batches, a whole plethora of scams to chose from all in the span of a few minutes.

I received a call yesterday from this number. I apparently did not hear it ring as I never answered it. Looking at the caller id it shows that it was an incoming call from EGYPT. Obviously area code 201 is on the east coast of the US, but with everything else I am reading.... this is a BS scam of some sort. I hate this crap and no one does anything about it. I have all of my numbers including my WORK number on the "DO NOT CALL" list and nothing seems to matter. Be careful everyone!

Yep it's a scam alright.  They called me today and does show up as an Egyptian number but when I tried to call back the number in Egypt it was a disconnected number.  Also when you call the number using 201 US area code it is same thing.  Disco number.  I will add them to my block list on my phone.  Don't get scammed!
