I received an automated voice message from this number saying it was the IRS and they were suing me.
Not even bothering to call back...can only imagine what crap they are trying to pull!

Got several calls from this # on my answering machine. Knew it was a scam, anytime I have been contacted by the IRS it has been by mail. Found this on The FTC consumer fraud website. When you have a tax problem, the IRS will first contact you by mail. The IRS won’t ask you to wire money, pay with a prepaid debit card, or share your credit card information over the phone. If you get a call like this, file a complaint with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at tigta.gov. You also can file a complaint with the FTC at ftc.gov/complaint. If you’re concerned there’s a real problem, call the IRS directly at 800-829-1040.

I received a call from a foreigner. He said we was calling from Washington DC and he was from the IRS. Caller ID showed the number as New Jersey.

Calls originate in India and Pakistan.  They spoof local numbers.  Ignore and block the calls.
