Got a call from this number. When we answered there was silence! We called back with no answer!

This was a confirmation call back from at&t for me, I had just made some changes to my uverse account and a payment. I was driving at the time and asked her to leave me my confirmation on a voicemail. This is the number that it came from.

Got a call from this number.. missed the call & no message left ... i don't have at&t thou..

I got 9 repeat calls from this number one right after the other. is this some kind of game?

Caller claimed to be from at&t about a service call.

I just spoke to AT&T about U-verse service and then began receiving calls from this number with and no one would speak .  Probably associated with AT&T.

I received 6 calls from this number, I did not answered

Call back from AT&T about I survey that I filled, so this was not a typical telemarketing call.

You should check your U-Verse account to make sure it's not hacked. AT&T does NOT use this number to do callbacks. It's FRAUD. It happened to me. They took over my cells.

Called me at 6am because  someone wanted to"reestablish use with my att account." Recently moved and had att internet at our last address. I drove home the point that n new connection should be restored and that I cancelled ALL accounts with att. Hung up on her because she wasn't making sense. Will call the real att customer service in the morning to confirm but sounded like a terrible rehearsed scam call.

called me 3 times. left no message. did talked w att abt my att account 5 mins before. so after seeing comments here I chatted (online) w/ an att person who could not tell u if the # is att associated. annoyed even more

Do not give them any info. SCAM. Called ATT after they called asking for info saying they were from ATT. Changed my password after I spoke to ATT.

Received call, answered with no response, so I hung up. I have had no connection with AT&T for the last 10 years, and hopefully will never have anything to do with them ever again.

Got a call on my cell phone on a Sunday morning from a woman with a very heavy accent claiming to be with AT&T.  Yeah right - like you could really reach anyone at AT&T on a Sunday!  I told her she had the wrong number...she got the number of someone who knows her scam.

Do not answer!! I received a call from this number on August 5, 2015 at 10:08am. I am having AT&T service installed today and thought it might be the technician. They asked for my address and passcode. I was then told that my service could not be connected because the previous occupants of the apartment I moved into did not cancel their service. They wanted to confirm my address with a bill which I obviously didn't have because I just moved. They then asked if anyone could confirm my residence like a landlord and wanted the number as well as the name of the person. I was upset that the service could not be connected so I called the number back later but no one answered. I then called AT&T. They informed me that the call was not from AT&T and to ignore the information they provided me with. They wanted to know the name of the person who called, and I provided them with the number. The representative I spoke to informed me that he reported the number. I then changed my passcode to be safe.

I too got the same experience and somehow they ARE tied in to AT&T.. They told me the account was still active and I had to verify I owned the house or the uverse could NOT be connected.  My Uverse and internet was supposed to be connected today.. but now it is tomorrow.... Although this morning I texted At&T and got confirmation it was going to be connected today.  It could be tied into DIRECT.... The pakistan guy could NOT give me an employee ID number and told me his name was SUHAIL... He also gave me an E mail account.. but it is not valid.. the mail bounced  ver@att.com.   I believe he callled last week too.  This has been a nightmare.  He didn't seem to excited when he realized it was not going to be a land line.  When he calls back tomorrow.. I am giving him the number of the police station.  I do not have an AT&T cell phone.. so he has a useless number

Received a phone call from 201 617-9029 asking for my AT&T U-Verse Account 4-digit pass code. The caller had a very heavy accent and he could not provide a clear answer as to why he was calling. I informed him it is not proper business practice to call a customer and ask for their info and it is a clear indicator they are trying to scam you. Basically told him to take a hike and when I called AT&T's actual customer service they informed me that it is not one of their lines and do not provide them any info. Rather frustrating as I just signed up for U-Verse and within 24 hours someone is trying to hack the account and scam  me.
