This person calls and lease message "hello" .."hello" and when you call back he/she does not says anything. Scam..fraud.. watch for this number. "Unknown Name" in caller id.

Call  came in around 4:53pm on a Thursday. Phone rang 3 times. Caller ID showed Bayonne NJ.

Rang three times; caller ID read Bayonne NJ.  Didn't recognize number, didn't pick up.  Caller gave up after three rings.

It was "John" from the Association for Firefighters, or something.  Wanting money, of course.  

When you try and call this number back, you find out it is a number that it no longer in service. They're spoofing this number---it's a scam.

Spoofing is quite common. However I have heard that these telemaggoters have known to use fake out of service messages in the hope that people will return the call.

I answered since local number.  John calling for firefighters and paramedics.  Said was not interested and hung up!
