This number sent a text to my cell phone reguarding my craigslist add. Gave me some story about being on a charity mission in west africa. Wanted me to send the item there.
I said they needed a new scam story and to get a life! Next msg i got was to "go slam my dick in a door!"
Obviously, this number is accociated with a scam!

This number sent a text to my cell phone concerning a Craigslist for sale add, some charity non sense as stated above.

I also got a message from the above number 201-688-0648 - concerning my Craigslist for sale add, wanting to immediate purchase my item. I also believe it's a scam to.

Just got a text from the number wanting to purchase a bridesmaid dress I'm selling on craiglists to give to a male cousin as a gift in West Africa.  Scam!!!!!!

This number also text me about buy my item, that he is a ship captain wanting buy item for his friend in Nigeria. I almost gave in, but I googled his number and found this website. Thank you google!

This same guy with the same number just asked me about my netbook i am selling on craigslist. Same BS story about his cousin doing some charity job in South Africa and that this was a gift for him. Asked for paypal info and all.

Just happened to me today. He said he wanted to buy it imediatly for his cousin working with state security over seas. Every question i asked him he ended with asking me if i have a paypal account. I thought it was Fishy when he asked for my full name.

Try calling says he's deaf

Reply from Craigs list add in WI. Offered me $60 dollars more then my asking price. wanted me to ship item overseas to his cousin working with state security

Just got a message on my craigslist ad wants me to send my ipad 3 to his cousin working overseas as a gift told him read the ad no scams good bye googled number and sure enough here we all are from the same number lol

I received similar request to buy my item on craigslist, luckily I googled the number and found these posts. Thanks for the heads up!  Also these numbers are scams too 856-733-0298 and 801-893-2312.

They just tried it on me, (I knew better). Told me "will be offering  $110 over my asking price to include mailing to the cousin working at an American embassy for a christmas gift". I told them "Not to bother me again".
