Caller ID read SSI and the number, which I didn't recognize.  Caller gave up after six rings.  The number is from     MONMOUTH TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH INC. - NJ, of Red Bank, NJ, which is not in the 201 area code .  This firm provides toll free numbers starting with 201-688 XXXX.

He was asking to speak with my husband, claiming he was from my husbands healthcare plan but due to privacy he "could not tell me what company he worked for or he would get fired"!

I received a call from this number around 9:oo pm last night from "SSI".  I don't bother answering these any more.  If it's legit, the caller will leave a message.  Thank God for caller ID.

This number called me asking to take a survey on my advertising habits. I figured I would mess with them and take the survey since they said it would be "quick". After a 35 minutes of answering questions, and cycling through about 8 different accents, the call finally came to a close. They asked for my yearly income, job status, name, state, and zip code. Either a scammer or a telemarkerter

Make me no more phone calls. Is my right. Period.

Said he was from the Boston Group and they were doing research on 401k plans. Wanted to know if I would participate in a quick 5 minute survey. I googled boston group and they do not look like a company that would do a 401k research report as far as I can tell. The area code is NJ but the Boston Group is in Boston only. I told him I wasn't interested. Funny thing was earlier this morning, I was searching on the web for 401k information. Hmmmmmm.

He is claiming sports authority now.

Received call with no vm...glad I looked up the number on google. Seems to be a scam.

This Phone number calls my job on a regular basis claiming this is not a sales call and wanted me to take part in a communications survey, I advised this is a business and we do not have time for surveys.  They always call back a few weeks later to try again.

I'd said new jersey no message. Caller ID is a beautiful thing.

Credit card scammer!!! Wants me to over charge his credit card and send money to pay his driver. I hate these [***] so I play with them and waste as much of their time I can, hoping that’s maybe one less person they can scam. Always done through text.
