A women that claimed to be Linda Hannigan tried to sell me a 2006 infinity m35x for $2000. she sent me a link that had ebay's letter head that told me to put my payment on a greendot moneypak and they would start ahippment. when i called ebay to make my payment theytold me that they had no record of the sale and that their process is totally different. This women is very good she even claims to be in the service and says that this was her husbands car and he passed away. please be carefull.

She almost had me too! Her and somebody named Lisa Young both selling nice cars for $2000 both scams started rushing me in the email, saw their post through craigslist.

selling a 2011 GSXR 1000 with 3000 miles on it. Claims to be Linda Hannigan who lost her husband recently and is selling the bike because she works in the military and is being relocated. Claims to be affiliated with Ebay buyer protection and that I will get the bike delivered in 2-3 days and she wont get paid for 5 days after I receive the bike. Funny thing here, my wife works on base, and she is set in this form of payment even though she can get cash the day of, she would rather wait. BEWARE!!!!!

Beware of the Scam - Linda Hannigan

I woman by the name of Linda Hannibal gave me the same story about having to relocate because of the military and that her husband passed. She's currently on Craigslist attempting to sell a 2008 Honda Accord for $2000. Beware folks looks like we have a serial scam artist.

Also got this same scam. She (Linda Hannigan) tried selling me a 2008 Honda accord for $2,000 with 46,000 miles on it. She also told me her husband passed away, and she was just trying to get rid of the car; Also had told me what military base her car was on. Definitely a serial scam artist.

My name is Linda, and I'm emailing you about 2008 Suzuki GSX-R, and only 14,567 k miles. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, electric is working perfectly. The engine 1,000 (cc), runs very good. Has a clean and clear US title in my name. This bike was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $1500 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the bike before the 15 of the next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country  for a year and do not want to store it. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year.

The vehicle is already at our Military Logistic Department form  Fort Belvoir, U.S. Army base crated and ready to go. The Logistic Department will deliver the car to your home so the shipping is free for you. Since the car is in a military base, with no access you can not go there and take it, only the Logistic Department can deliver it, because the car is in their custody.Shipping may take anywhere between 2 to 3 business days depending on the destination. All the documents you need for ownership; title, manuals and the bill of sale, etc.. will be provided along with the vehicle ( title and the bill so sale will be notarized by a notary public ).You will have 5 business days for inspection.
