Have been calling 2-4 times per day for the last two weeks.  They say they are the IRS and I need to call them due to being sued.

Me too!  I called back and the person could barely speak English and kept asking me to repeat the spelling of my first and last name.

Same deal, "we have been trying to reach you, this is the IRS, we are going to sue you, etc etc." Clearly bogus, 1) said they were from internal revenue services, with an s. Also, 2) the area code is 201 (Washington dc) but the call comes from NJ. and 3) finally the IRS does not need to sue anyone. You get audited

I have received 4 calls from this number today, with 2 voicemails. I cannot make out the beginning of the message. It says. "case file. Please call immediately on our dept. number 201-762..." and then repeats. I just blocked the number.

Called the number and said it was hilarious they were suing me. He hung up.

Called twice to cellphone.
Partial voicemail mentioned a case number.

I called back and asked who "Sue" is.  Why am I getting Sue, and what is her last name?  They hung up.

Claims to be from the IRS and they are getting ready to sue me.

Having fun with the "IRS", prank calling them and playing the Cops song in the back round, at least 20 times in a row.

Robo call that breaks up demanding that I call immediately on my case.  Calls 2-3 times per day.  News is warning about this scam using people off shore who can't speak English.  You send them money cards etc. etc.  Stupid indeed.

I received 3 messages in 2 days and it always starts in the middle of the message with the words "case file" call immediately and gives the 201-762-1100 number to call back. Since it starts in the middle of the message the IRS name is no where in the message. I like the idea of playing the cops song over and over. Great job!
