I never answer phone calls from 800s or numbers I do not recognize so didn't answer this call either.  Automated msg left saying to call back immediately.  general internet search gave following information:

They claim there from the IRS & that you owe taxes. In my case they said my retired mother owed 4 years worth & that she owed them 700+ $ for the past 4 years. How does someone who paid the working taxes correctly owe taxes ?? Lol I told them off, plus the lady couldn't even speak English correctly. Becaful there after $ and SS # s

I got the message at this number and it did say it was the irs and i was being sued. Well, i have a cpa and if the irs wants to sue me, they need to mail me a letter and i will give it to my cpa. I would like to sue them!

Just called. Did not answer. Know no one in area code 201. Display: OUT OF AREA.
Left an automated message saying to call about "a case" but no mention of WHO was calling. Soooo, it's the IRS? Thanks, all! Blocked now.
