Called and never spoke = spammer!

Telemarketer.  Keeps calling - keeps saying HELLO??? when they are actually talking to my answering machine.  Foreign accent.

I've had enough of the calls from this number.  They are trying to sell some type of power saver or tryng to get information.  Very persistent.

They called multiple times. I knew it was spam because I did not recognize the number and we do not know anyone from NJ. I finally picked up, had to say Hello twice and they wanted to know about electric and they were trying to sell something. I asked to be put on the Do Not Call List and they would not accept that answer. They said they were doing a government survey and that I have to answer or they will keep calling. They told me this after I asked to be put on the Do Not Call List three times.

They did not tell me what company they were from when I asked.

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Gentleman had a foreign accent; asked "how are you". I told him I was just fine and immediately hung up.

had a call from these [***], I told them to take me off their call list, the caller wanted to know if I spend more than $150/month on my electric, I kept telling him take me off your call list, he kept telling me I would have to talk to his expert supervisor, the call went on for a while, he told me my power will be shut off because I wasn't talking to his expert and that gives him permission to shut my power off...

Common scam originating in India.  They claim to be selling a device that it going to save you money on your electric bill.  Of course they can never explain the physics of it.   From what I've read,  it's simply some sort of resister which reduces the power incoming to your appliances.  Unfortunately it also generates a lot of extra heat and is therefore a fire hazard.

Received a called from this number; did not recognize the number; therefore, I did not answer and there was no message left on my voice mail!

Got a call from this number at 3:45pm today 7/8/14. I didn't answer. No message left. Googled it and it took me here. Setting the number to my SPAM list.

I've gotten a call from this number once every four days for the past month.  I've never answered because I didn't recognize the area code. They've never left a message.
