Scam.  According to "Kevin Mason" federal action has been taken and he must be contacted under penalty of law.

Poor quality recorded message left.  I could hear manu other conversations in the background.  "Hi .This message is intended to contact you. My name is Kevin Meeks and I am calling to regarding an important action executed by the U.S. Treasury intending that ... united states magistrate judge... Our intention is to help you help us." Call blah blah blah

allegedly calling from US treasury.  as soon as I called their bluff  they hung up.   I then reported the call to my local police department and to the FBI.

How do they get our numbers? .....  the idiots don't know we don't call the IRS  the US Treasury.... ha ha ha.... we call it the 'IRS'.... of course I Knew immediately it was a scam.... and because I know we haven't done ANYTHING wrong!  Idiot scammers Karma will take care of you!

Most likely yours was just next in line-they may use a robo-dialer (not the real name) to dial every number in an area code and/or exchange.

Threatening call from a male with an Indian accent stating he was from the US Treasury and wanting to clear up a debt. If no response to the call he threatened to bring me before a magistrate judge.

Sounds like they was calling from a car driving with the windows down....  "Hi .This message is intended to contact you. Why there are so many IRS scam calls from different numbers recently? Where's the security?!

Called no message 7am this morning.

Got a call from them. They left a message saying to contact them concerning a fraud crime...

I called the number back and ask who this was. they said IRS. So I told them to send me a letter. They said okay and did not ask for address. Scam call

Poorly recorded voice message that sounds like a speak & spell with dying batteries.  The only audible part is something about legal action being taken against me, blah, blah, blah.  They have already called my cell phone 3 times today!

from Kearny, NJ.  Poorly recorded message also, says contact "local county court house" and leaves the (201) 948-1013 number.  Funny thing is I'm in Kentucky, I'm pretty sure this is not one of my local court houses.

Also in Kentucky, just got the same message although all my voicemail caught was the voice repeating the phone number.
