has called twice now and says i have committed bank fraud by taking internet loan last july.  i have lost my job and only made one payment back then due to illness and loss of work.  i have no income and they say i have committed a crime but could save myself by doing a check by phone for at least $100

There was a message left on our general mailbox at work for an employee.  It was left after business hours, but could have gone directly to his VM if the caller had bothered to go through the directory.  IF this employee really owes the money, it's none of our bisuness.  Inappropriate and possibly illegal to leave this on a general delivery system.

I have gotten two calls from this company.  The first call was a man who asked me if I knew a certain person.  I said yes.  He said that person had given me as a reference.  I asked him if he was calling me for a reference.  He abruptly went on to ask me if I knew how they could contact that person.  I asked again if they were calling for a reference.  He interrupted me again and asked me if I had his number.  I asked them if he had provided his home number and address. He said yes.  I told him I had no other information than that and asked him if they were calling for a reference.  The man finally said no and told me that I needed to get this person to contact them on an important matter.  I told the man that I was not going to do that and asked that my number be removed from his records. The man was loudly insisting that I needed to give them some information.  I told him that if they were not calling me for a reference that they were overstepping their authority and the guy hung upon me.  Today I got a call from a woman who insisted the same thing over and over, over my objections. I told her she needed to contact him at home.  They had his address and phone number and I was not going to give him any message from them as it was not my job. She threatened me saying that I would be cited with certified mail.  I called back the company and asked to speak to management. The receptionist put me back on the woman who called me voice mail.  I called back and asked to speak to management and they put me on a man's voice mail.  When he called me back, I asked for his name and position and he told me his name and said his position was supervisor in the call center.  I told him that I wanted to speak to someone in management.  He insisted that he was management and that I would not be called again.  Furthermore, he told me that I was under no obligation to this company which I already knew.  This form of harassment is unacceptable and I am sure that this is not an isolated incidence with this company.  I will be filing a report with the attorney general of NJ as they are a registered LLC there and I suggest any of you who are having the same problem or same type of problem do the same thing.

You need to report them to the NJ Attorney General.  That is illegal and what they did to me is also illegal.  I am going to report them.  Companies with no ethics like this one need to be put out of business.

These people are Unbelievable ! The Woman who called here had left several threatening Messages about Court action being taken . First off it wasn't for me it was for a relative ~ I finally answered the phone and she insisted that If I knew how to reach them that I give her the Information ~ I refused and asked her to state the nature of her business, she said it would be the best interest of the relative if I let them know actions were going to be taken within days if they didn't comply ~ so I asked her again to tell me the nature of her business, she asked if I paid this persons bills to which I replied No they are a grown up , they don't live here this isn't their phone number and she then told me it concerned an old credit card debt. Wait isn't it illegal for you to give that information to a third party? I told her if I talked to them I would relay her message, and that they wer NOT to call my phone again and Not to leave message concerning this on my voice mail~ she said Ok But you need to Contact them Now and tell them to call me Really ~ she needs to read the federal Laws~

Diane from Kramer & Associates has contacted me 3x and left messages stating I was going to be taken to court.  They have sent absolutely NOTHING in the mail to validate this debt, just threats over the phone.  They have now contacted people with the same last name as mine and left detailed messages on their answering phone.  These scum bags will stop at nothing to get their money.  Unless, they send something in writing and they validate the debt, they have NO case. I will also call the NJ Attorney General's office and submit my claim.  There are laws to protect both and it's very sad when one side - the collections side thinks they can leave detailed messages and threats on phone recordings.  Hopefully Kramer is reading this and will stop breaking the law.  It is a $1,000 violation for everytime this happens and I have now $3,000 worth of violations and I will inform the Attorney General of this.  Follow the laws Kramer - you are threatening us and telling family and friends of our situation, we will tell them of yours.

Where did you file the claim? I looked on the NJ attorney general website but wasn't sure where to file does anyone have any ideas?

Just got message from my ex husband that these people were needing me to callback for a claim: gave claim # and all. I also check my voice mail and they left the same message on my phone. Absolutely crazy, never filed a claim of any sort. Thank you for everyone's story. It just confirmed that this is not legit.

Receiving demeaning, threatening calls from  201.968.0327, x 121 - identified as Kramer & Associates. This is illegal! They need to be shut down.

This number called my husbands parents in another state clear acoss the country from  us. He hasn't lived in that city for 24 years now or in that state for 7-8 years. Left messages stating the claim number and that he wants to help him with an apperance notice he was just sent. This is total bs and I intend to file a claim with the Attorney General too. What a crock. This isn't even the first time. They keep changing their business and personal names to try to get you to call. We don't owe them anything. WE PAY OUR DEBTS!!!

How do these people get their Information? that is what i want to know and why call others for another person when it is obvious (since they have the persons name and address) they don't LIVE at the number they are calling?

Some one from Kramer and Associates called my number regarding an in-law!

I got a phone call from this number today. When I told them it wasn`t me, he hung up. He called my daughter and left a threatening message. They claim to be from Kramer and assocites. I called back. he asked me to verify my personal information. I refused and that`s when he got really ugly. He said I was going to be served with papaers and he wished me luck. I took that as a treat, and if he truly was from an attorneys office as they claimed, he would know that was illegal!

I dont know this company or person they are nquiring about, they are rude and very vague.

I received a call from Kramer and Associates Carolyn Vickers who left a message on my work phone since I  have no other phone stating she will send my information to my job to garnish my wages. I called her back and it was more like an arguement I asked that they no longer contact my place of business.

I just received a call from  a Mitchell Parks 201-688-0327. Asking for a person that did not live at my house. He got very rude with me. Accusing me of knowing this person. Saying you do know this person. He was very rude with me and he slam the phone down when I told him not to call my number. We gets others calls for other people we don't know. None these people will take our number off their list.  This is the rudest call we have received so far.
