I just received a call from this number stating the IRS has a lawsuit against me.

Received a call saying they wanted to sue. It was a computer voice.

I just received a call from 201-984-1776 stating they are the IRS and are filing a lawsuit against me.

Called stating that the IRS was filing legal action from Audit from 2009 - 2014
and I need to pay them now !!!!

I too just received a call from this number, sounded legit, the "agent" that called even gave me his badge number. When I refused to pay, what he said were back taxes from 2009-2014, he threatened to have me put in jail and all of my assets seized. I again refused to arrange payment and he transferred me his supervisor, she too gave me her bs badge number and made  the same threats, when I told her I would contact my local IRS field office - she hung up on me.

Badge numbers are bogus! I know a former IRS person who knows and there is something missing that I won't post about.

Caller said the IRS has filed a law suite against me.

Got a call on the office billing dept. for my deceased boss. Told the woman he had been dead for three years. She got all tongue tied and then said ok and hung up.
