Just received a call from this number, but they did not leave a message.

I also just received a call from this number a minute ago. They did not leave a message.

I just got a call and answered it.  The man was mostly unintelligible.  He sounded like he had an accent, a speech impediment, or both.  He asked my name.  I said, "You called me.  Who are you."  He said something about something or other in Washington, DC.  I tried several times to figure out what he was saying, then hung up.

I have got two calls from this number on my cell phone.  I've been at work both times and have missed the call.  They don't leave a message.  I've done some research on the internet and the best I can tell, its a scam for government grants.  I continue to ignore the call.

Called yesterday and today. Did not leave message.

just got a call from this number 1-202-111-1111 - have no clue who it is just to let everyone know that calls that are received from people with strong accent dont give any information these are people who are trying to wipeout your bank account. They attempted twice on me till a point where i contacted the FBI and police department they advised me to not give any personal information that the only way a person can be arrested if it personally comes from an police officer of the law enforcement.

its a scam they called me and said i got selected for $6000.00 for a government grant and wanted me to send them $149.00 deposit so i called the police they said that the if it was a government grant they would not ask for a deposit so watch your back lol

its a scam they called me and said that i have been selected for a government grant of $6000.00 and told me to go to the closes western union and send them $149,00 and they would send me back $6149.00 back so i called the police and asked them they said that if the government was going to give you a grant that they would never ask me for a deposit

I've gotten two or three of these calls, and couldn't really understand what the man was saying.  And interestingly, my iPhone completely erased ALL of my contacts shortly after I got these calls.  Makes me wonder if the two things are connected...

I had the same thing. They have called several times, can't understand them, I did catch something about government something or other. I don't even answer. Why can't the police or FBI do something to these scumbags.

They said they were with US Government Loans and asked for Randal. They send me texts as well and I'm not Randal and continue to ask them to stop. When I got them on the phone I asked to speak with someone who could help me stop these calls and texts and she just said thank you and hung up.

This number has shown up on my phone's memory a time or two in the past... I NEVER answer calls from numbers that I don't know. But this time there was a voicemail. Out of curiosity, I listened to it.  It was creepy.  It was as if my number was dialed unknowingly and  all's I heard was about twenty seconds of a female voice next to the phone and many background voices, all in a language I couldn't recognize.

My phone rang twice and before I could answer they hung up! I tried to call number and it said call could not be completed!

They called me from a 202 number and I can't find it.

They left a long voicemail. First minute was a man breathing in the mic. You could hear a call center in the background. Then the man said something in an unknown language. Some form of Arabic. Then I hear another call come on the line. The man then said "This is Jason with the federal government in washington dc. Your name and number have xome up and you have been approved for a $9000 grant and you don't have to pay anything back. Okay?" Then the message ended. I've worked in call centers before. I've always known who I was asking for. This man didn't even ask for anyone. Secondly we would say who we were calling on behalf of but never our location. Third we had a script to read to try and convey as much info as possible before the client would hang up. This sounded like fishing. Don't answer and don't give any info away. Not even your name.

Man with an  Accent And he kept saying right after each sentence and telling me how I was awarded 9000 from the government and there were three ways to get it and when I questioned him he said go F yourself and hung up

This number just rang in on my cell phone, the caller ID said Washington DC 202-111-1111.  With a number like that I thought maybe the president was calling me, but I didn't bother answering.  I never pick up unknown numbers, even if it could be Obama himself  : )

Received 3 calls from this number today.  I didn't answer it.  Once I had time to get into my settings on my phone I blocked them.  From looking at the messages before me, it appears it's a scam.  Who has a phone number like that?  I found it odd.  I'm glad I didn't answer it.
