Just got a call from someone calling herself "Jessica" from the US Departments of Grants in Washingtion DC. Thick Indian accents and sounded like she was reading a script. I hung up right away.

I got the same message, Im assuming its a scam

100% scam, hardly tell what indian woman was saying, something about government money , then she hung up on me! totally bogus

Its a scam. Its hard to hear anything because of the heavy accent and background noise, but he was telling me I had 9000 in grant money from the "government". Once he asked if I had a good relationship with the government I said yes because I work for the gov.  His accent then got impossible to understand and I instructed him to lose my number.

It's a call that caller ID says is from DC, USA. A lot of background noise, phones ringing talking office noises. The caller was a male with a thick Indian accent. I could make what he was saying the first sentence or two. He finally said I have a government grant of $9000.00 waiting for me. 😳😳😳😃😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭 I said thanx and hung up

Same thing just happened to me, I immediately blocked the number

Got the same call, it's a total scam.  Once I asked for her name and phone number she got nervous and hung up.

been getting the same call 4 different times today. Finally answered and got my 9000.00 on green dot card whew. hoo

Keep getting phone calls from this number. Says from Federal Office of Grants. Once I said to discontinue calling women got nasty and hung up. Got three more calls since. I have now placed a hold with my phone company.

Yes this is a total scam.  There is no grant.  They want an upfront fee by untraceable means.  Then you never hear form them again.

When I asked the Indian woman to repeat herself because I couldn't understand her she hung up on me! Now that wasn't very nice!😜😜😜
