Keep getting a call from 202 area code and nobody ever answers when I say hello and they don't leave a message

I continue to receive phone calls from this number and they do not respond when I answer.   I sent the call to voice mail and a male voice not identifying himself or a company left a voicemail only saying only "Hello....Hello...you mutherFkr.." I could hear a lot of noise in the background.

How can this harassment be stopped.  I have no idea who these people are and I wish I could sue for harassment.

this  number keeps calling me and i finally talked to one of them indian person i belive.  He said something about oweing 9000.00 bucks, finallly just hung up on them, they call me again tell to take a hike.  i cant really put down what I will really say to them.

I have received 4 phone calls from this number in the last half hour. Nobody answers.

I finally answered the call, some lady from India I think said I can receive 9000.00 dollars from some government grant. I said ok , she then told me my address, state, zip code last name. she asked my age and if I worked. did I want the money in a bank account, money order, money gram and so on. I said money gram. she gave me a code and a phone number. I am going to look this number up. I hope I am not screwed.

I keep getting this area code with different numbers behind it but this one I answered, who is this?  and he said can I talk to Donna, and I again said, Who is this, and he said some name, couldn't understand and said he was with a Federal Grant thing and I right away said, take my number off your calling list, and he said "I'm gonna f--- you up!!!!   I said excuse me!!!   and he started saying that again and other [***] and I said your an [***] and hung up!!!    HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS [***]??????

Man with heavy accent saying I won a 9000 dollar grant. Not dealing with this scam any more, blocking the 202 area code.

Called me from 202-132-2520 ten times today five times from 000-000-0000. Also several times over the last 5 days. Different person each time. Lots of people in the background doing the same. Call canot be returned.

Constantly calling I just block it now

How can you block it on a cell phone?

Invalid phone number -- 132 does not exist

Neither does 000-000-0000 , but that's what the caller ID says! Did they call you from either number James?

I continue to receive numerous phone calls from 202-132-2520. No message left just constant calling.

I keep getting calls from this number.  Answered once, lots of noise in background.  Started saying something about Federal.  I hung up.  Blocked number.  Has called me every 2 hours today.

Lol,now that I know its scammers... ;) I can have a little fun of my own,thanks for posting guys/gals. I am however curious to weather there is some common factor (phone service,sites used,etc) in which resulted in our receiving these calls,could help resolve the root of this issue? Could simply be random choice of numbers,but even in chaos there is a pattern.

I received the same call today - I called back on a different number. I knew it was a scam but wanted to see what they would say. They asked the same questions. I asked them how they knew who I was. She said, do you want the money or not? I replied, not on your terms. Her reply...F U.

Received a call from this number regarding that i have 1500 dollars refund money from grants and is a USA goverment money and telhey said that i been select to get 1500 dollars free i don't have to pay back they ask for my bank account, visa or monegram.
Well i just to share this info and i hope nobody believed. This call is scam

Caller explained that I had won a 9k grant from the government. They gave me 3 options to get the check. Direct deposit in my bank account, Visa card or Moneygram. I told them to send me a check and they told me that it was only the 3 options. I told them go ahead and deposit it in my bank account. They asked me for my account number. I told them if they really were the government they already had that information. They hung up on me.

This is a common scam... Don't give them any info....
