someone called me from this number

Same, about 20 minutes ago.

Same, just a few minutes ago.

Same here. Called twice. Only rings a few times and hangs up. The phone number is the fax number for J Green Natural Foods Co. in DC.

i just got a call but the didnt leave message on voicemail

I got a call it was for the Obama campaign

Has called me 6 times in 1 1/2 hrs. Only rings a few times then hangs up. When I try to call it back Verizon tells me number no longer in service.  This has happened more than one occasion , very annoying.

Says they are from the US government grants department.

There is NO department of grants.  This is a CROOK calling.

Called over 5 times in 2 hrs!  We are a physicians office that can not afford to have our phone lines occupied by these scam artists!  I hope the FTC continues to levy stiff fines to these perps like the one they just did! What if a patient couldn't reach me because of these idiots!

They have called 6 times yesterday and starting again to day. Government Grant offering me $9,000.

Avoid answering the 202 calls entirely if you don't know anyone in the area code. Foreign thieves are using it to pose as government officials since it's the DC area code. Number looks fishy to begin with and likely spoofed. These are the 'grants' that reward the caller rather than the receiver. Meet them by letting your phone ring with NO kind of answer if possible.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Yes! Some foreigner claiming the government is giving me $9,000. They called 8 times in the past 2 hours. I blocked the number and received other phone calls with the same BS....I wish someone could stop this

Someone called from this number 10 times today. I did not answer at all but tried to call the number immediately after a call this afternoon and there was a recording that line is busy right now and try again later...RIGHT!!!

Calls and nothing is even said on the other end.
It also called with a Florida number, same sounds in the background.

This number called me and said they where from the department of treasury and said I had a won a grant for being a good citizen. It's a scam!! Do Not give out any personal information.

Said they were from the US government and I had been pick to receive a 9,000. no pay back grant.  The guy could hardly speak English... Total spam

middle eastern man telling me I have a free $9,000 government grant. Somehow called me at work on my work extension and asked for me by name. Sounds like a SCAM SCAM SCAM
