They keep changing phone numbers, calling from all over the US (supposedly) but sure don't sound like US people.  Telling me I am involved in a legal action.  Don't know them, changed my home # and my cell#, they call at my old work. Tried to report them to the Consumer Protection people and just get told they won't do anything until these people steal my money or identity - what about poor older people who don't understand that there are a lot of jerks out there trying to - somebody needs to do something about these people.... if it is a payday loan - I had one several years ago and paid it back with the outrageous interest and haven't dealt with them again.  Driving me crazy!

I have been getting these calls for about 8 months to a year now. every day. first it was at home and now its at my job. they say there is a lawsuit complaint against my SS#. they even knew the last 4 digets. they said my SS will be frozen if i don't call them back. I spoke to them once in the beginning and asked for their title, name of agency and other vital info that any lawyer would reveal. they told me it was confidential . i told them to send me proof in the mail like a real agency would do. I was arguing with them and finally I just hung up on them. They say if I don't reply to this urgent matter I will be in alot of trouble. then they say all I can say to you is good luck. yesterday it was a woman that I couldn't understand a word she was saying and hung up on her. 2 min later Jack Jones called me and left another voicemail saying the same threats. They even called my X-husbands house which is far away from here looking for me. first they are from Washington DC and then it changes. they have used the following phone #'s 202-204-9829, 209-498-0913 and 850-270-0872. I spoke to one of my credit card companies and told them about this and they said their company has the FBI working on this because there are alot of people claiming the same thing.

this has gone on for several years now> our gov. dose not give a f about it. I have reported t ftc, att gen. local, secret service, fbi. continues to happen. I guess we have to deal with my best is gust tell them t f off!!!!!!!!! cause our gov anit going to do anything about!!!!!!

THIS DAMM COMPANY KEEPS CALLING MY JOB SAYING THAT THERES A LAWSUIT AGAINST ME BUT WON'T TELL ME WHO IS FROM OR WHO THEY ARE. THE PERSON SOUNDS CHINESE OR JAPANESE OR WHO THE HELL KNOW WHAT LANGUAGE THAT IS. I'M REALLY PISSED OF BECAUSE MY BOSS AREADY STATED THAT I WILL GET FIRED OVER THIS IF IT CONTINUES.

I get the same thing.....they keep calling my husband constantly....saying he has an unsecured loan with them and that if i do not pay it then he is taking legal action....the funny thing is....about 2 years ago our kids got sick and ran up a huge medical bill and we filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy...so when i explained that to him he said he was excluded from that and no bankruptcy in the United States would protect me from him....really?!? wow....

If they call from this number or others report them to the Federal Trade Commission. I did today and eventually a class action lawsuit will be filed.

this place calls from a bunch of numbers, threatens you and calls at times that are not allowed

google the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act see the 15 things a debt collector is not allowed to do and then hit the link to the federal trade commission and file the complaint.

Its easy , simple and they cant find out. We will beat this bogus company and get rid of them if all file a complaint.

Who knows if this company is legit or not but they are not following the rules lets take them down

I have been getting these calls also for the past year. They have used the names Steve Martin, Kevin Johnson, etc and the person sounds like he is from India.  You can not understand the person at all. They  even harassment my two friends and me at work. When you ask them for proof. The man kept saying he is from the legal department but can not fax me any documents showing the online pay day was done with my signature. I have no record of doing any business with the two different company's the are taking about. They even threatened that I would have go to Texas and appear in court. Since they have my address I would think papers would have been send to me from the company a long time ago. Kevin Jackson would not let me talk to a another supervisor in legal department; he kept saying he is the supervisor.

I DO NOT WANT TO GET PHONE CALLS FROM 1 202 -204 -9829. tHEY REFUSE TO GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW REAL THE COMPANY IS.

lmao they keep calling my house trying to sell us magazines and also i have a default loan with a company that i never heard of. and whenever i let it go to the answering machine they dont leave a message. and i laughed bigtime when i hit *67 and called them back it was talking about making money lol if you would like to participate press 1 and if i would like to have my number removed press 9 or call the cops. then i got disconnected.

oh and on the caller ID it said soundbite communication lol

Called my cell yesterday (which is registered on the DoNotCall website!!).  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

They called my cell, but did not leave a message. Any legitimate company that wanted to settle a claim of some sort would leave a message. I know my financial situation is fine so I cannot imagine what they would say if I answered!

I just called the number and it was a job opportunity of some sort with few openings left. Then it gave the option to press 1 for more information and 9 to not receive calls any longer after the call is over. I pressed 9, then hung up. Obviously this is a scam.

I get alot of these phone calls. I just stopped answering any and ALL phone calls that have a number that I dont recognize. Just as someone said, if its important they will leave a message. Sometimes with you cell company, I use Verizon, you can go to their website and block that number. That seems to help with alot of the BS phone calls.

I get these all the time too...sometimes at 4 in the morning...got one  yesterday and they were listed on caller id as Soundbite Communications.

Has anyone figured out the physical or legal address for service of these [***]?
I'm planning to sue 'em in small claims for the TCPA violations, not to mention California Business and Professions Code Section 17538.  $7500 if I do it right.
I guess I may have to pretend to be interested to get their contact info.
I'll call with a GV number so I can block 'em if they start robocalling.
