Call from a "Wireless Caller" leaving message that they were the IRS and this was a final notice that IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  Obviously a scam - they leave the Wireless caller number from which they called - 202-213-1201

I received a call about an hour ago. Oh definitely a scam. I am reporting this to the IRS www. TIGTA. gov. This [***] was trying to harass me into paying him money I supposedly owed due to an audit otherwise they would call the police.. Nice try though. DO not fall for this line of BS.

The same as others have reported. Automated message claiming it was the IRS filing a lawsuit.  Not legit.

Claimed the IRS was filing suit against me. Hey Dumb [***] on the phone any thing from the IRS comes as registered mail and you have to sign for it. Or the man with handcuffs shows up, either way is not good but the scammers try to get you to call a number.. don't do it, it is a scam........

Have been calling my land line everyday with same recorded message. "This is a final warning from the IRS. A claim is being filed against" Call 202 213-1201 immediately" How many final warnings am I going to get? Please stop this nonsense and I hope unsuspecting people don't fall for this.

Obvious scam. I called back the 202-213-1201 number.  The person answered identified himself as IRS.  I asked if they are the real IRS and he stumbled on answer. I asked him what the irs stands for, he hung up.

Second time I have received this recorded message although the first time was a different number.  An obvious scam.  I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.

WTH...this scared the heck out of me on Thursday when I called them, I almost closed out my bank accounts. Today I called back as they had called again and "Justin Miller" was unbelievable. When I finally said fine I will pay it online at IRS.gov and he said "no it's already too late" I asked why, I just told you I was going to pay I just need the case file to reference. He became very hostile and even cursed over the phone....soooo stupid

So glad you didn't fall for this scam.  NEVER believe anyone on the phone that tells you to pay NOW.  NEVER answer calls from persons you don't recognize.  The IRS warns of this scam:

received this call yesterday on my answering machine
