Recording saying IRS is starting proceedings against me. NOT!

Another fake irs number for the call blocker.

Got another fake IRS call. They keep coming to home phone and cell. From all different numbers and locations. Really tired of it.

IRS fake call, if you call back someone with Indian accent answer immediately...Fakeeeeeeeeeee!!

It is a scam.

The IRS does not initiate contact via a phone call, they first send postal letters.
The IRS does not threaten arrest.
The IRS does not demand immediate payment over the phone.
The IRS does not ask for Credit card, Debit card, or prepaid money card information, at all.

It is a scam ran by offshore criminals attempting to trick you into sending them money.

For the past week or so, almost every day we get a call with a recorded message claiming that the IRS is suing us. It is getting tiresome.

This is getting really old. I've been getting these types of calls since I did my taxes. All of them are the same old same old claiming we owe the IRS money and they want us to send them credit card info right now. Anyone know how to stop these calls?
