Caller ID Name = CELL PHONE DC.  I didn't recognize caller so I let it go to voicemail.  A female robot recording said: "Hello.  We have been trying to reach you.  This call is officially a final notice from IRS.  Internal Revenue Service.  The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you.  To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number: 202-230-6495.  To repeat..."  This is clearly a scam, I have no issues with the IRS.

...And they called again about 40 minutes later.  Exact same Caller ID and message.

Clearly so.  They can't even speak proper English!  They changed from a live person to a recording because people, like me, used to play along and then call them out.  Haha

This person or robot called me and said I had issues with the IRS, not sure why. I know it's a scam. It's funny because I heard a click as soon as I answered and a few seconds later it started.

Received the same message 'miker' reported below. Clearly a spam/fraud

Clearly a scam. If the irs had issues with you they would contact you by mail with info backing up their issue with you. NOT call you with a general voice message( female robo) call. Also this story has been all over the news. So do these people really think the american public is that stupid?

Caller(robot) stated this was last warning from IRS, saying they were filing a law suit against me. Clearly a scam

Final IRS call 4 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago twice and now twice today.  Guess they don't know the what final means.

I received 3 phone calls and messages in two and a half hours

Msg left saying IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

Same IRS scam. Called twice, as above about 40  minutes after first call .Robo voice "Last Warning"

The number has been disconnected.
