202-239-2835

I got a call from (722) 596-6514 and let it go to voice mail. The message said that "Internal Revenue Services" (it's "Internal Revenue Service," scammer idiots!) was filing a lawsuit and requested that I call (202) 239-2835. Yeah, 722 is a Mexico area code, SURE the U.S. IRS has a phone number from there.

same scammer scum called me today. re: irs law suit  202-239-2835. sounded like he was calling from a railroad station boiler room. i told him were to find his next victim.

The guy asked me if I had a girlfriend? Wtf

a recorded message claiming to be from IRS stating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.  Said to call (202) 239 2835.
when calling that number it just goes to a busy signal.  I really wish there was some law against this and that people could be prosecuted for phone harassment.  

I also got this same message to call the same number. My call originated from Mission, British Columbia. Arggghhhh!!!

I was told this was my final notice and the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.

I got an automated cal on my home phone message machine.  l, womans type viuce saying this was my last notice and that the IRS, Internal Review Services was filing a lawsuit against me and I should call 202-239-2835. I dialed *69 to get the last call number and it was 722-590-6524.  Then I looked on google to see if others had calls from these numbers and found this listing. They have. One sounds just like the call I got. and automated voice did have that slip up of the IRS name as Internal Revenue Services and not Internal Revenue Service.

Well, it's tax time so I figure this is the latest scam.

I get so many junk calls that I don't answer the phone. I wait to hear if they leave a message. Most don't, they just hang up.

Mine came from caller ID # (644) 296-5348 (Wellington New Zealand area code) telling me to call 202-239-2835, and yes, I too am apparently being sued by the IRS.  Rats.  Imbeciles...  

Call originated from 723-594-6554.  A computerized females voice (like Stephen Hawking talking) claimed the IRS was suing me.  I wish we could sue these parasites...

I got a call from 644-226-5548 it was an automated voice saying to call 202-239-2835 that the irs was filing a lawsuit against me. When I called the number back a man answered irs I was like this is the IRS . I could not understand him the back ground noise sounded like a call room only louder. Telamarketer I can at least here. Where do these scammers get are numbers.

Got a robocall from 729-598-6504 saying that it was the final notice from the IRS and they are filing suit and to call 202-239-2835.

seems if you call them with caller id blocked .. rings twice and busy tone ..  

Scammers hunting for live numbers !!!!!

Same info as above.  Received a message that this was my final notice and they were filing a lawsuit against me.  Called the number 202-239-2835 and some guy answered "Internal Revenue Services" and I told him I received a call and wanted to know why.  He disconnected.  I called back ten times (yes, this is what that feels like) and it finally went to a busy signal.  Cannot get through now.  Geesh!!  Called ID says 722-593-6544.  BE CAREFUL!!

you can report these calls to the TIGTA - that's the complaint line for fraudulent phone calls pretending to be the IRS - just reported it

Just received a message rom the same number 202-239-2835 came out of Washington DC.  Tried to call back just beeps. [***] 

These are total idiots...I got the call today.  The sad part is they may catch a person venerable who has no clue to these types of scams.  I knew right away it was a scam due to the fact the IRS will send you a letter before they call you (TRUST! I know).  I pray they don't get to scam anyone with their scamming, rotten crooked tactics.  They need to real legitimate J.O.B. and quit trying to trick and take people for their hard earned monies..smh..

I got the same thing and i called back some black lady with a loud tv sounded like she new nothing of it.

I also got the same call just a few minutes ago.....also got calls yesterday...told to call a different number. I do not answer any calls from numbers I don't know. Let them leave me messages. Now keeping a log of the calls and saving the messages,

I also got this same message to call the same number (202)239-2835.  The call originated from (413)989-5587 and the message was left on my voice mail.  The (413) number orignated out of Boston, MA.  I tried calling both numbers and I got everything but an answer, the phone rang, there was a busy signal, etc.  Predators searching for their next victims of identity theft, I imagine.  

Second time in a month. Call shows from 644-226-5748 to call 202-239-2835. If you search the 202 area code number, it does show that it is down street from the white house which is where the IRS building is but be ware, letters always come first!
