Automated call came ~8:30pm asking if I'd like to save more than $1000.00 on my yearly phone bills.  Identified themselves as "Magic Jack".

I just received a call from this number as well, I didn't answer. I figured it was either a scam or some telemarketer. Thanks for the heads up.

MagicJack general caller ID number. If someone buys their internet phone device it comes with 30 free trial minutes which will initially give this number for caller ID until the buyer chooses their permanent number. Could be someone you know who just bought one an is trying it out. I didn't answer so they left a message.

I'm getting 4 calls daily from this number.  They wait for the answering maching to click on and then don't leave a message.  How do I get them to stop?  I work nights and sleep during the day and this is getting frustrating.

I got 2 calls today from this number, the first one didn't leave a message, the second left an unintelligible (foreign language?) voicemail, female voice, perhaps started with "hello father." Totally creepy and unpleasant.

They just called me and it's after midnight here?  When I picked up after the first ring, there was no one on the line.

This number just called me at 3:00 in the morning!  Only one ring came through, but it truly scared me.  I tried looking up the number, its from Washington DC, a mobile phone.

It is the number that comes with the Magicjack until you register it I just got one and call myself to test the sound so it is someone you know or a wrong number it will only work for 48 hours with this number then you must register and get a new number.

I received call from this number and the person asked me if I want to buy shoes. They called again and left the voice mail. It turns out that this was my sister who is on vacation in Europe and is using some Magic Jack connection.

Jan 5 2010 1:21 PM the call came in but I answered before I looked at the number since I was expecting an important call. Turned out it was my own dad calling me, said something about trying a new computer phone service. He tells me to call back since the the conversation was all broken up; could not understand him was cutting out every other word. I figured it was my dad so no harm in trying to call him back. I called and some recording came on so I hung up right away.

I just installed the Majic Jack to my laptop and this is the number it gave me. I was looking at  this number due to the area code it's telling the area code is in Washington and I'm located in Illinois....so the calls from before "not me".....

yes, I received the strange call four times in 10 min. No one answer me after my picking up. It's just crazy!

Spanish speaking caller - (no english) -

I got a call from this number they were looking for someone when i told them they had the wrong number he got nasty so I hung up.  They called right back and said they were looking for omebody in reference to social security fraud and asked for my last 4 digits of my ocial security number.  It was very strange.

I just recieved a call from this number! The man calling was very scary! He started talking very slowly and the caller made no sense so I hung up. What's with this guy and who does this number belong to??????

it' might be someone  using the magic jack through their computer.  It's free long distance anywhere in canada and the states.The magic jack lasts a yr or longer depending on the subscription.  As long as you have a computer and internet access, it works great.
