They called me this morning and they told me that my name is selected to win 10000$ grant .it is free money money from government people like you who work part time.they asked me to pay 280 fee befor starts process  in federal reserve . I told them that I did not have money now they said we will hold your grant until you pay fee

This is a scam that has been around for several years. There are never any fees to pay for a government grant and you always have to apply for them.  There is no such government grants program like they describe.  See the warnings about scams like this on the FTC website:

They called me from 202-241-0834 and said you have 10,000 from the government wanted my bank account or credit card number I hung up and they kept calling and I rejected it.

how do you know if its legit or not or if its a scam

They called me crom a blocked number and wanted my credit card info and i gabe it like a dumb [***] but i have a prepaid credit card u gotta have my pin to do anything and then i  called this 2022410834 number and was suppose to talk to someone else but this number beeped like a anwsering machine so i googled the number and found out its a fraud wow

Left a message on the machine that u was going to be arrested for tax fraud and tax evasion.  Glad I didn't answer the phone

Called stating I would be arrested for tax fraud & evasion

A message was left on my phone saying i would be arrested for tax evasion and fraud if i did not contact them within 24 hours. By all means i would like to see that. I've been in prison for 21 years and only been out 2 years have not had a job to medical issues. So the joke is on them.

I received the same message. These scam calls are frequently calling me. Something needs to be done.

They call me so many time why there is no FBI go look for those people I think FBI can find them easy but no one do anything about it they keep scam people and try to Rob you like this why?

Two phone calls today at 2:11 pm and 5:00 pm from 202-241-0834 identified as belonging to "Vanessa Fields".  Recording said she was Lauren Bloom of the IRS and that I need to call 202-241-0834 right away as the IRS filed a lawsuit against me for fraud and I must call before the sheriff comes to arrest me.  I did not call back.  Obviously, a crude prank or an attempted amateur scam.

3 x's today they have called. Last week 4x w different number ending in 3505.  Irs fraud, warrant for my arrest...don't think so.

I didn't pick up. Left a voicemail...IRS fraud....gonna arrest me if I don't call back before my case goes to court. All these complaints and no one can find them to arrest them????

Number called me 4 times in the space of 2 hrs claiming to be IRS.  It’s the current fake IRS scam

Received a recording saying I was being arrested by the IRS.  The recording asked that I call this number, 202-241-0834, immediately.  Total scam.
