- Andy| 1 replyScam call received twice on my cell phone, claiming to be from the IRS, but instead they call it the "Internal Revenue Service Department". Broken English, very difficult to understand. I received two messages, one with a female voice, one with a male voice, both with exactly the same script. Appears to be computer-generated. I assume this is a phishing scheme or a scheme to get you to call using your cell phone so they can charge you for phantom services without your knowledge. Do not call them back!!

He left message one my phone to call back in this number. - KThey called me twice yesterday and once tkday. When I picked up the first call yesterday they asked for "nellie" and I told them thru had the wrong number. They called back and I sent it to voicemail. The message said that he was a police officer and that if he did not hear back from my attorney or from me then he wished me good luck and he could not help me. I got the same message from the same person today. It was a recording because it wad the exact message from yesterday. Creeps!

I received 2 scam phones from the phone number above for 2 different days. The message is as same as one that most people here wrote. I telephoned back to him, and asked him to tell his name, and the company he worked for after he asked for my name, and address. He refused to give me his name, the company's name, and he hung up the telephone on me.- Call type: Prank

- MJG replies to IRSAnd you are a real FRAUD!!! Back to the boiler room slums. You fail as a shill.
- Slim replies to IRSPerhaps people DO understand, and are not being mislead by some shill's statements... particularly shills who have to SHOUT to get their minuscule brain cells to work.
Fact:
---> The IRS does not "cold call" people. Initial contact is always by snailmail.
There is a fairly common IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers in both Canada and the USA.
USA tax payers should read this:
