Received call and message to call back this number.  Spoke poor English and indicated my taxes were filed with misleading information. Indicated they send papers two times and no response. If I don't sign papers they will send local police to arrest me. Otherwise they will send an agent with papers to sign and I can write a check for the taxes due.  He got upset wih me when I kept questioning why the papers weren't left with the post office.  Not sure if they focus on elderly people and scare them with being arrested by cops and serving time in jail.  Little did he know I called on behalf of my mother and they didn't scare me one bit.  Never heard of this before.  That is not how the IRS does audits and how much possibly could my mother owe.  Always pays on time.  What is wrong with this country.  People like this should be found and deported back to their country where they can screw their own people out of money.

Received call from this number today. It is a SCAM! Could barely understand the guy. He said he was from the crime investigation unit. The crime investigation unit needs to hunt him down and send him back to his country like the other victim in this post mentioned.

On Fri march 21 some man with Indian accent left a message asking for my husband  with his full name from I R S and said we have to call back so on Mon morning I did call back and another person or maybe the same Indian voice had my info full name my husband and said we have committed fraud on our tax return and said to me within half hour they will at my house to arrest me and hand cough me ,and he said he will call my phone # on the other end to make sure I will not lose the call after long harassment he told me to go to the nearest right aid and make a voucher for the amount off $2500 and from there he will stay with me on the phone to make sure I don't make a mistake l put him on hold and called the police in my Aria they told me hang up the phone .that kept me in very bad mood for the whole day

These Criminals calling from phone number 202 2412073 to houses are Cyber terrorists. Government must take action against these cyber crimes. They should be arrested and put behind jail walls. They are treating thousands life daily and victimizing people innocents by gathering information from the net on victims.  They must be arrested immediately for disturbing and terrorizing families’ harmony and peace in USA and abroad. They may use Viber, goggles phone, and other resources to hunt down their victims. FBI and other IT, CI, and CIT cervices should crack down this kind of crimes immediately. They are groups of Indian with firm believe to Hindu gods, they are Hindu terrorists from India.

This person called me a few weeks ago and I told him he was not legit and stop calling me, I never received any prior notices as he claimed, I asked him to take me off his calling list etc and I hung up. Then this morning this guy has the nerve to call back, I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer but he left a message! I could not believe it, I have the entire dialog about the CID and tax misconduct blah blah blah on my voice mail. Glad I ran into this post because I was considering calling him back however there were just too many things wrong! He never mentioned any federal agencies by name like IRS or FBI, however I did find a crime investigation division listed under the FBI. I think I am going to call them now and report him and forward the voice mail and number to them hopefully we can all be left alone!

I got a call from 1-202-241-2073 and he left a message on my answering machine. He spoke poor English. I know I do not owe any taxes. He is just a con- man. I like what the other post that says call the IRS not this con man if you think you owe.

Got same call twice now, poor English and ver harassing.  Heaven help the poor people who fall for this scam!  I am calling the new york FBI field office to report.  I already reported to IRS a few weeks ago.

They are scammer/extortionists located in India.  There's not much you can do except report them.  Call blocker might help too.

Report 'em!

Also received a call from this number stating from Criminal Investigation Division from the IRS.  Stated a warrant issued in my name and that they had sent paperwork to my address.  My husband, a law enforcement officer, got on the phone and the caller (foreign accent) was unable to answer simple questions about which jurisdiction he was representing.  This is absolutely a scam!!

Called me today, nearly gave me a coronary.  Indian accent, said he was Kevin Marshall. Said he was with the Crime Investigation Division of the IRS. Found misconduct on my taxes.  I thought it was bizarre that he ended the conversation with good by and may bless you. Thankfully I googled the number before I called back.  I tried to call IRS to report but the mailbox was full.  I can't imagine how upsetting this kind of call would be to an older person!

Got the same call not one hour ago. Seems they were busy today. Wish FBI were this busy :) but hey, they wait until millions are screwed then they "investigate." I do not blame the poor morons running the scam, they don't know any better, I blame the FBI for being overpaid...based on the crimes they solve they should make $9 per hour, if this much. FBI crooks are running circles around you you fat imbeciles...get off your leather chairs and deal with these guys...will you? Oh, I forgot, cops now are busy watching tv shows about cops hahahahha.

I was left a message on my answering machine from this number.  The man spoke very poor English, stated his name as Kevin Marshall, badge number 19538, (he my husbands name) and that he was from the CID, crime investigation dept of the IRS, He said my husband committed a very serious offence and this personal matter  must be addressed immediately.  We called our accountant who stated that it sounds like a scam, that the IRS notifies issues via mail.  We are not calling back, especially since we have not done anything wrong, but I do intend on reporting this number to FBI.

Can't deport them.  They are scammer/extortionists located in India!
