A lady called me from this number saying that. I have been aproved for a goverment grant. She wanted me to send 199.00 trew Western Union. The offer just didn't sound right.

I got the same call from an unknown # telling me I was selected for a $5000 government grant because of some survey they did a few months back and some other factors.  And that person told me to call that number (202-241-2662; Christie Wolf)  Same thing, wanted me to go to a western union and send the $190.  Dunno if I should do it or not because $5000 for free does sound pretty nice right about now.

I just got a call from 202-241-2662 acutally it was from an unknown # they told me to give Christy Wolf a call to claim my grant. I did and she wanted me to go to Western Union and deposit 190.00. This is crazy I wish someone would tell me if it is a hoax.

This is a Scam. You will NOT get any money back. You can not be selected unless you actually applied for the grant, even then they will not call you.

Thank you I figured it was and I am going to do everything I can to expose this scam.

I got the same call and was told pay 190 to western union then they would release the 5000 dollars to me.

i recive the same call n the lady told me to go to western union n i deposit$190.00 n i did it n after 15mins i  recive my grants money n $190.00 into my acc  but i didnt recive $10

This is such a scam!!! You can not receive grant money from a company. And if they ask you to put money in their account, what is the purpose of receiving free money then? The only grant money you can get is for school. Do not fall for this, I called the number and told them I was going to report them.

This is a complete scam. I called the number to let them know I was on to them and they started to swear and talk dirty to me.DON'T FALL FOR IT. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. But I still call the number once and a while to bother them. They get so mad. Its kind of funny. Feel bad for anyone who falls for this.

This is a filty, dirty job that they took the money on the hard earn of the other people. now i am in the process to file a petition to the poorest Indian govt. not to do this job any more. which to my knowlegde even state administrator and police are secretly involved in this glutonic game.. i JUST got the phone call, it was initially unknown, i said i wanted cash and the guy gave me this number.. i called it started talkin 2 the [***] and decided [***] this im going to put the number on google and see what it says... i got to this page while i was still on the phone with her and she was rambling on and i wasnt listening haha. then i told her 2 stop talking, and that i knew she was about to ask me for $200 ect. ect.. then to go [***] herself =p her name is apparently "kristie"

Sure ya did! You can't even say it correctly... kinda like the [***] that are calling.

Okay, I somehow got on some ridiculous loop. I keep getting calls from these kinds of places. Seems to me that they are possibly the same company, just moving around. I think next time they call, I will say, "Hey, if you are a legit United States Company, you have to have a customer service person available with NO accent. Can I talk to that person?" Now, having said that... I am in no way racist, just sick and tired of these calls.
They need to be reported... If you are reading this... report them!!!!!

I just got a call was told to call christy @that 202# so tell her I looked up the # and was told it was a scam n I was not sending n e money nor giving out my banking informattion so I was told when I get to WU to call her so she can give me the money control # n ill have my 5000 with in 5 so im on my way to WU ill let you know what happens lol

I just called the number and the lady cussed me out... If any one does this your stupid .... It's a big scam if it was a loan you would not be asked to giventhem money to get money lol...what world are you living in???????.   I turned them into western union and called the bbb I have all the information.  Shut those scammers down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
