Robotic voice left VM claiming to be from the IRS and that they would "block my Social Security number" (which makes no sense at all) and that I should return the call before they take any legal action. Obvious scam to get SS# probably, so I blocked the number.

The IRS sends letters. They don't call, text or e-mail unless you already have had ongoing conversations with one of their employees.

I love calling these pricks.   Thank you all for posting the numbers.  Allows me to prank call them back.

Your calls must be irritating these Indian Scammers. One of them just posted with one of their usual vulgar & obscene threats. The post was deleted. Desperate Indian Scammers are vile creatures but I don't recommend calling them back. They're known to seek revenge in many low ways. They're far too weak to be of any physical threat but they can be a real pest. Some people have reported attempts at "Swatting" (look it up) & other forms of petty "tele-terrorism". It's best to just ignore the vermin & block their calls if you're able to.

I just had the same message left on my VM. It's irritating all right. I have enough going on and don't need BS like this

Received a call. Called them back the man said he was with IRS n they are going to blackball my ss# , seize my DL , and a sheriff would be here to arrest me for fraud to IRS. Said I owed $1500. . Gave me case no IFC741831

Robocall re: blocking my social security no. What BS! Just hung up on them. Should prank them back but not worth the time or effort.

Just found a  message similar to those above on my answering machine only this time pretending to be from the Canada Revenue Agency.   I'm told that if I don't call back  I face dire consequences!  What a lot of bosh!

they must have intended to autodial our number the Revenue Canada message because they accidently sent us one claiming a warrant against our person and property, though we're Canadian..
