Robocaller threatening 'legal allegation against you' (sic) from the IRS

Same message threatening 'legal allegation' and added 'take care' at the end of the call.

It was a robot aller.  Sounds like it said they were officer Hannah Grey from Internal Revenue Service and the hotline to my business is 202-241-6135.
Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any legal action against you. Goodbye and take care.

Received a hoax call on Saturday June 14 at 10:00 from IRS Officer Heather Gray

GOt call from 202-241-6135 claiming to be from District of Columbia collecting taxes

This is officer Heather Grey from Internal Revenue Service and the hotline to my division is 2022416135. I repeat it's 2022416135. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any legal allegation against you. Goodbye and take care."  

•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

What a piece of crock- "legal allegation"? What the hell is that. They are threatening to fabricate a crime and somehow link me to this "allegation" through the legal system? !!! Hire a qualified lawyer if you really want to make your scam sound half convincing....

This woman left a message  threatening 'legal allegation" if we do not call back.  Her English is very hard to understand.  I thought IRS will not let people with such poor English to initiate contact with tax payers. (I maybe wrong).  The first thing I did is to check this web page.  Thanks everyone who posted on this web.  I am sure it is scam.

Same mesage just like others. Big scam!!!

Caller called my home early morning 4 times
spoke to me and my husband
we told him we knew it was not the IRS- we hung up on them
he called me back and started to raise his voice with me
i told him to give me his name number and supervisors number
of course he said he could not
i slammed phone on him
it is a scam
but this piece of crap called repeatedly even when my husband warned him not to!
