- L. SpizaleThe person calling us today had a thick Indian accent. He said that my husband's loan was approved. He said he was with G.E. Captiol. The approved amount was $10,000. My husband nor myself made a loan application to them. He ended up hanging up on me when I kept asking him questions like: What address do you show? What City? I called the number back and yes there was a voicemail, but he said in his message he was David Spencer (obviously a bogus name). He called me back telling me the loan was approved for $10,000 do I want it. Then he hung up again. With the way people are stealing other people's identity these days, keep digging and report these [***]!!
- Caller: G.E. Capitol

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. - Trena TindleyI received a phone call from this number. They said I was being investigated by IRS for criminal activity.

- CWG40 replies to Lauren CameronCall blocker is your best bet. Also don't pick up on calls you do not recognize. These are hard core Indian or Pakistani scammer/extortionists. You do NOT want to return their calls under ANY circumstances. They male callers are extremely abusive when they find out you aren't falling for their stupid scams. These calls are not random. They have a lot of your financial information and some personal information. They are predators in search of vulnerable people. They pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community. Do not return the calls, returning the calls is a signal to them that you feel vulnerable in some sense or another. Then they just hammer you with more calls.
- CWG40 replies to ctDNC doesn't protect anyone from scofflaws or deliberate criminals, which these people are. Call blocker is your best bet.
- Jessica JohnsonI received a call yesterday from this number. It is a middle eastern man with a thick heavy accent. He left a voicemail starting off with "BEFORE YOU GET ARRESTED". That was the only thing i could hear him say because of his tick accent. I called the number back. He said he was calling from the irs and i had a legal patient notice against my name for tax fraud from the years of 2004-2008. He told me that the cops would be coming to arrest me, my bank accounts would be frozen, andmy license suspended. I kept badgering him with questions and asked to speak with someone higher than him. He kept laughing and being rude with me. He hung up on me. I called him back several times and each time he would hang up on me. He wanted me to pay $9,000. BECAREFUL! ITS A SCAM!!!
