caller said he was with Wells Fargo and had a check for me and to call him.

got a call today that they had a certified check for me from gold in Vegas,I pretended to be someone else said the call is from vegas also.

I also got call from this number saying they were from Wells Fargo and had a certified check for me.

I did too. Same thing. said they had a certified check from Wells Fargo. Had my full name. Ended with "Have a blessed day."

Sounds like the Nigerian email scam has gone to the phones. A step backward for scammers?

these people are real i got my check from them two days ago

My Wife also got a call saying they were from Wells Fargo with a check also but what is concerning is they used her name before we were married 22 years ago. They must heve some paperwork.

I also received a call - stated he was from wells fargo bank and had a 1.5 million dollar check.  Told him he was full of it...he tried to call back then I blocked the number.

I received the same call today. Same message the guy said his name was Clavin Davis.
