Started out as a recorded, "Hello this is Heather from accounts..." then the call disconnected. Calling the number back resulted in a busy signal.

No message

Caller did not leave message, attempted to return call and received a busy signal.

Called at 10.15a CST, a pre-recorded message in which a person identifying herself as "Heather" told me that she represented my credit department (lies, I don't even have a credit card anymore).  There wasn't a problem (well that's good... in imaginary land my credit is good, apparently) but she wanted to be sure I knew I was eligible to upgrade to the next level of credit.  Press 1 to speak to a representative or 2 to discontinue receiving calls.

Done and done.  The next question is which of the 1,000 places that have my phone number profited by selling it to these annoying companies?

I noticed I missed a call but did not recognize the number.  I didn't even check for a message but Googled the number instead and found this.

Left no message, but I see from other posts that it's Healther, again! Heather & Rachel p--- me off! Now they're calling cell phones. I suppose there's nothing we can do to prevent this. There is no more privacy! No escape from these sleazebags!

If you press "1" the connection is terrible and it's not Heather.  They are from Credit Services with the same lower your rate to 6.9%.  Never ask your name but want to verify expiration dates.  I gave her one and she said, I see that is your Visa card - lucky guess - maybe.  However, that was enough for me.  Hung Up

Called,  then hung up on me when I answered. Assh*les......

It was a pre-recorded message and I hung up.

Just got a call from 202-242-5257 No one answered when picked up. I called back only got busy signal. And the kicker is: I recently canceled my credit card.  Never had a call from a scammer before, but have known others who faced this scam scare before. Not gonna give anyone my time of day for telemarketeers or scams of any fashion.

Called 1:18pm Central 7/23/13.  Left no msg.

Called today. Caller ID said, "Washington DC"
No message.

Did not leave a message.

got call 5 minutes ago: it is a land line established 4/15/1996 I don't know who it was it is DC; they left no voice mail; looks some scam-operation has my phone number.... I'd better do some checking of financials to see if it is deeper than this scamming cold call

East indian accent ... Tons of noise from what must be a huge scandal phone room...
