Very nice lady called and asked for our owner by name. Did not leave a message said that she would call back next week. Probably a sales call. Caller ID stated "Hilton Washington".

They keep calling and want to speak with the owner.  Very vague about what they want.  I have the capability of blocking the number and will do so.  I plan on reporting this number as well.

Called and asked for the owner by name - told him he was not ava., asked him what company he is with- would not give me a name of a company at ALL - Sheister for sure - just hung up on him - "buddy get a real job, you would be making more today by quitting time, delivering pizzas!!!"

Asked for the owner of the company by name who hasn't been employeed with us for approx 10 years.  Little did she know this.  I kept her on the line to get as much info as I could before blocking them for future calls.  Said she was calling from the Mayor's Small Business Division.  I hung up on her.

Asked for the owner of the company.  I told him he wasn't in.  I asked him for his name and number and was told his name was Bo Carter and he was with the State of PA Economic Division.  He gave me the number of 877-375-5916.  However, we have caller ID and the number came up:  202-249-7364.  Either way it's just another scam.

guy said he was Ron Priest from the State of Ohio economic commerce divsion... and then went into his speach about saying that he could help me recieve grants and other economic development moneys.
he wanted to get to know our business better and asked about how the recession has affected our business...
when i asked him again... Who are you with and who do you work for.
he replied with The State of Ohio economic mayors commerce division...

i saw the caller I.D. and googled. it while listening to him... and found this string, and quickly and very nicely told him that we were all set and that we would not qualify for grants and that we didn't need any funding or help at this time...

he tried to keep me on the line, but i very politely asked him to please close our file.

he hung up.

is now calling for two individuals who retired over 4 and 6 years ago. Stated he was calling from washington dc commerce division.

Was told to not call here again. Refused and stated that they would be calling back. Time to report this number yet again.

Called this morning and asked to speak to owner by name. I told him that he is not available . He then
asked if he could leave a message, and then hung up on me. The nerve of these dicks! I called backed
and only received a recorded message for "Partners of America". I will remember this number and give
him to our extension with the screaming monkeys.

"Adrian" called- asked for owner by first name. I asked her what company she was with, she said "she'll know me, just put me through to her".  Owner did NOT know her! I told Adrian that and she said she would call back...left no message naturally. She will NEVER get through to the owner- what a waste of everyone's time!

Received a call requesting to speak to the owner.  Would not tell me who they were with (Just Mr. Cello's Office) or what they were selling or providing.  Stated they had a scheduled meeting today.  Her name was Jessica Powers.  Very rude.  If you tell people what you are calling for they might give you an answer..........UGGGH!!!

Caller stated that he was the new replacement person for a Fed Agency regional staffer whose job it was to evaluate small businesses in need of gov. funding support.

He asked how many employees we had and tried to proceed with addtl questions to which I stopped him and asked that he email me.

Received call stating that he was from the NJ Economic Team for small business. Hung up.

Got a call from this number.  First, he identifies himself as Val Ramirez. Then hangs up and calls again and identifies himself as Johnny Lee...  Did not give the company he works for.  Just asks for the owner of the company

Called and asked for owner by name.  I asked who he was and he gave me a name, but I didn't recognize it as a business colleague or personal friend of his. The number came up as 2022497364 "Private", which tipped me off.  I put him on hold and when I came back I explained that the owner wasn't available and asked if he wanted to leave a voicemail. He said " Oh he's not in yet this morning, well I'll try him on his cell phone then" and hung up.  I thought for a second that I made a mistake, but obviously I didn't.

Received a call from 202-249-7364, "unavailable", called and asked for owner, when I asked who's calling he said Jim and hung up.

Got a call from "Sherry Colbart" from 202-249-7364.  Wanted to speak with the President.  I asked her her company name and she said "no company, but he should be familiar with who I am".  I put her in his VM and she immediately called back asking him to be paged.  No page system here, so she accepted his VM after all.

A woman named Wanda Smith called from this number. Asked for the owner by name. Asked if the company had been affected by recent economic situation and owner replied of course; and when pressed further by Wanda owner said, "I'm not prepared to discuss anything more with you until I know who is calling and why."  Wanda said it is her responsibility to find out information so as to not waste the owner's time or her time.  Owner asked, "Fine. So what is it that you are calling about?"  Wanda did not give a direct answer except to repeat what she said, and added that there are grants available to help small business owners, etc etc.  Owner said, "Wanda, I'm going to do you a favor right now and not waste anymore of your time so you can get onto the next guy!"  Wanda tried to stall owner from hanging up, without success.
