I have received a rude phone call about a online loan in my name. Through American cash which is false I was harrassed at my job and then again at home

I have recevied a rude call from the same number, the lady left a vm very, rude. Never said what it was about.but for me or my laywer to give her a call back today or else.

I also received a call from William Connor at this number stating that I took out a loan and the police are going to arrest me at my work on monday because these people have the right to do that, and that I owe them $750.  I think it's BS because I called back, they refused to send me a copy of the original debt because they're "not a collection agency".  "William Connor" got very angry when I said that I didn't take out the loan and I didn't believe him, and thought it was a false call, stating, "fine, we'll just send the police to your place of employment on monday to arrest you"  I called back and requested their address which made him mad, and he said that I was harassing HIM!!!  He refused to give me his address, I told him that it was so that I could inform him in writing that he is not allowed to call me at work.  I believe this call to be fake because I have never heard of this company and have never taken out a loan with them.

These people are crazy, I have received calls from two individuals stating that I needed to call and when you call they don’t answer the phone. I decided to call these ppl back and finally after calling back a couple of times I got someone to answer and asked why I keep getting calls from these people. He tried to get more information from me. Told him I was not giving him any information and for them to stop calling either of my numbers so he asked who called today I told him Samual Richard (same guy that left the message was the guy I was talking to), mind you he is Indian and barley speaks English but he work for a Law Firm he has been calling me from.  I told him to STOP calling my numbers and to remove my information from his list so he attempted to raise his voice and tell me I was a suspect, I just laughed at him told him I was  no suspect, to remove my information and Stop calling me and just hung up the phone.  So if you get a call from 202-249-7657 just ignore it or tell them to go to hell, it will piss them off and they will leave you alone =0)

Yup got a call for my wife from him statein that she took out a loan  didnt say for wat we kept callin back they were puttin differenet ppl on the phone we just found out it was a bs

they said i took a loan out with them and that if i didn't pay them back that they were going to call the police and have me arrested.  it freaked me out.. they said that i owed them 700 bucks and that if i didn't pay they would call the police and me arrested and make an example out of me.

Same phone call. On my vm a William Conner called... but spoke to Paul Smith.. same process cnt get an address or n e other information u would at a law firm. Thn whn I called back to speak with a William Conner he's busy and so is Paul Smith.. I trip him up suddenly Paul is free... n he's furious im calling. Reverse look up its a Washington DC number from lanham MD no name that's all I received.

Had about 3 calls. I never answered their questions. Same mo as the calls above. Problem is that I have a knowledge of the legal system. They didnt have a clue when about the debt collection process. Identity theft scammers. Just ask them the docket number and county it was filed in!

first female caller, now male. neither are literate. continuously called me day after day until i accidentally answered today. woman stated she had my SSN and was ready to sue me and that she would transfer me to the "head of my case". when a more literate, but still heavily accented man pursued to tell me all of my information, my place of residence and work, and that he would see me on monday when i'm arrested and before a judge. my parents then took the phone and asked him a bunch of questions in which he refused to answer, called them rude, screamed "my name YOU WILL BE ARRESTED ON MONDAY MORNING. BYE."

a few minutes later, i called back asking for my case number and such. To which he replied "i cannot tell you that today. i will tell you on monday after you are arrested when you are sued after the case file downloads." and then proceeded to offer me "one last chance" to settle the costs.

to which I replied, "no sir, i'll see you in court on monday."

This person has called my job several times from a variation of numbers with different names, and they are always speaking in threatening manner....the script pretty much says you have 24 hours to get your lawyer or else! I started looking it up because I'm genuinely going to find out if there's a way to press charges!

The called me saying I had a loan.in may 16 2012 I never payed. Which I called my loan company they said they never go threw different company's that day had payed off.the loan.  I had this happened to me.before. I had my boyfriend dad say I was his wife and that he said I already payed of my.loan he started to swearing at him saying that I was going to be locked up for years w no bail.. he was mean and unpleasant.  He left me a voice man stating.I was going to be locked up Monday BC my father in law. He called him a [***] husband.  I want this.to.stop. its very rude and they should be fined for harrassing me.

I received a call from this number from a lady and a ma. He said his name was Chris Walker and gave me an address @ 1500 K Street in DC. the next day they called me from a ca # 760-440-5421. Told me I owed money to a loan co and I would be put in jail on Monday if I didn't pay them.  He said he was a paralegal. When I asked him for the info to where the money should be sent if got very upset because I told him I was going to check him out with the better business bureau.  He refused and hung up. When the lady called she left a rude message on my phone and I recorded all conversations.. These people are scam artist and yes they were Indian and could hardly speak english. So beware of these two people..

I received a phone call on my job stating that i had taken out a loan with american cash and that i needed to make a payment of 740+dollars.  I spoke with a Travis Hall from the number of 202-249-7657 ext 616.  he states that the police was going to call my job and get me fired.  i was going to be placed in jail about this and that he was on the phone with his attorneys in my favor.

The same thing happened to me today.

i got a call from these idiots today, spewing the same rhetoric. I did take out a loan, which I am in the process of paying back, so that did freak me out a bit. I called my lender and told about the situation and they told me NOT TO GIVE THEM ANYTHING. They told me that's not how the collection process works. That if I didn't pay my loan back, there would be penalties and the case would be forwarded to a collection agency. My lender also said, in no situation would this matter ever result in any kind of "wire fraud" charge or any warrants for my arrest. I called back "William Conner," who honestly sounded more like Ramemdeep Pantoonwala and asked for their firms physical address, all the information they had on me, etc etc. He refused and was very rude and told me that If I didn't pay off the debt, that a warrant would be issued.....and get this.....the only way I would be able to pay this is by going to Walmart and get some kind of money wiring card with a code and then call him back and give him the code lol...I called this idiot back and got my gangsta on and he then proceeded to call me a sand [***]. We need to do something about these punk [***].

harassing phone calls throughout the day stating that they are coming to my house to arrest me for non-payment of a loan ,very rude with a Phillipino/Asian Accent,can somebody do something about these phone calls ?

I received a call from these a holes saying I owe a loan and I need to pay $750 today to them or else I would be arrested at home or at my work and the kept repeating my job name and address I asked for the a address of the company to send money after they send paperwork showing me I owe and they became very irate she hung up on me I called back and then a man got on saying if I don't pay today I would be arrested at my job or my home and I would be fined up to $10,000 I said I need a number and address because if I'm going to send money I need to see why they hung up on me

Sumthin needs 2 be dun...They keep on kalin me sayin there comin 2 my house 2morrow wit a warrant...If not pay them off wit 12K...Then he told me all my info...DOB SSN etc...Wat can we do...
