scaming saying i won a grant from the government and call back and says number is disconnected

I just received the same phone call. Said no thanks and hung up!

Told me the same thing. I won a government grant for 5000.  Told me I could only spend it for good things. Couldn't understand him well. He said they examined accounts that had had bankrupsies, or judgements? And awarded to them?
Wanted my bank, or "plastic" information, at which point I cut him off.

I just received the same call. When the woman said i was probably wondering why i was eligible for the $7000, i said "i assume it's because this is a scam" and she hung up.

Said I was won a grant for $9000, but I said I had no account and no card. She just hung up, plus her accent was strong

I said, "Hello" "Hello??" They said nothing, a recording beeped and said goodbye.

Same thing except I called her bluff and told them that any American in the United States and get the same grant and that they don't need to win it and he hung up on me so right there made me think a business person doesn't hang up on you they tried to get that Cell so that's what made me think it was a scam furthermore because from the gate I already knew it was

THIS IS A SCAM! I was told the govt had awarded 9k that wouldn't have to be paid back (yeah, okay!). As the woman (strong Indian accent) was speaking, I googled the number and found these posts as suspected. They're asking for bank or credit card info which no one should ever give over the phone unless you yourself make the phone call. I told them to mail me the money in that case  and she told me to hold on while another guy (strong accent) came on the phone. Advised them I wouldn't participate in the fraudulent activity and hung up. He had no response.

I just received the call as well. any time I get a call and the person has  a strong Indian accent i am I always ask their name and how to spell it.. and before I let them go on and on I try to get an employee number or operator number.. this lady hung up on me.. I tried to call the  number back and  i get a recording that states "your call can not be completed as dialed PLS check the number and try your call again"   thats when I looked on line and saw this info... YES its a SCAM

Just got the same call and was offered 9K I said no thanks I don't need the money, Haha.  Hung up, very heavy Indian accent.  Scam!!!

Said that I had won a $9000.00 government grand. I said he was full of [***] and he hung up. He spoke broken English.
