keep getting calls all the time no clue who this is

Claimed they were the American Lung Association and wanted no money just me to send 3 letters to my neighbors

Caller ID says "CRNC".  They leave no message.

I call back after hours (using *67 to block my number).  I hear the following, "Founded in 1892 the College Republican National Committee is an independent political committee with over 200 thousand members.  As the nationally elected voice for young conservatives across the country, the CRNC drives and defines the debate for college republicans.  On campus the CRNC recruits, trains, mobilizes, and engages collegiate students in all 50 states and Washington, DC to win elections and advocate for conservative ideals.

CID says CRNC. We block ALL 202 area codes because we are tired of the garbage.

You're replying to a 5-year old post. That person is never going to return to see your question.
You can't "blocks *your* number from all these intrusive calls" but you can block theirs. Invest in a call blocker which enables you to block entire area codes.
