I received a call from Washington at my office stating I had a warrant out for my arrest and they wanted for me or my attorney to call them back. This has happened two days in a row now. It has been all over the radio about this scam. These people just want to meet up with you to receive cash money.

Me too! Started yesterday. The number just called again. I'm just going to block it. Wow. So disgusting.

Also received a similar message

Recorded message from a computer.  The scammers are using this now because the accent they have is so thick no one can understand them.  I like how they say "If you don't return the call, all I can do is wish you good luck !!"  No one going to arrest you says that.  These guys are idiots.  I have this number saved in my phone as "SCAM 1" and it is now blocked.

I had this number call me as well as another Washington D.C. number today. Both saying i had a case and they gave a fake court case number.

My husband received a call from this number too. Before this call he received a call from another phone number (202 899 9017) with the same message saying that we owe IRS almost $5000 for taxes not property paid. He has given an hour to pay them. They will seize our money and property if we wont respond in an hour and could go to jail for 5 years. This a a SCAM! Be careful with this kind of people.

I stored this call in my priorities check list and called Corp. Office Washington DC to trace and investigate : "SCAM CALL" threaten me you better think again.
My Corp. has filed charges and will NOT stop until these Scammers' are in Prison; World Wide No Exceptions.

These callers are hard core scammer/extortionists located in India and Pakistan.  As such they are beyond the reach of US law.  They spoof local numbers.  Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.

That's when I knew it was a scam.

do not fall for this IRS Scam. Heavy accent stating from IRS and gives you fake agent # and name --- Horrible

number 2023502664 and 2024556998 have called here many times with different case numbers. stating they have a case against us. unknown who these people are and i'm tired of receiving these calls. would like it to stop!

I received this same call on 01-27 and had the message I needed myself or my lawyer to contact them within 24 hours and after that they wished me good luck.  I just can't believe something can't be done about these types of calls.
