A person named John Martin with foreign accent clld to say Ive been chosen to rcve $7,000 from treasury dept.  Dont believe him..so referred me to call Mr David at 253-205-8697...Didnt do it thought.  This is a scam?

SCAM - YOU would be told to pay THEM for a grant that does NOT exist (and it is illegal to have to pay for one).  You must also apply for a grant.  It is NOT our government & the caller is NOT in Washington D.D.

Total scm.   Originates in India and Pakistan.  Watch out for area code 202 numbers.  The Indian and Pakistani scmmers often  use that area code in the felonious little plots.

They told me to call 253-237-7676

Called 3 times in 2 hours. Didn't answer. Caller ID said District of Columbia.

This is a scam trying to get people to send them 350.00 to receive 7000.00 from a government grant.

yeah, I got a call from him today with a blocked call and I was able to track down his number.  I simply said "why you're calling me?"  he said my # has randomly selected from the US government to receive a free $10,000 student loan that I never have to pay back.  I said, "you must scam people all day long and stop calling me, stop calling me 3 times clearly so he hang up.  the thing is he call you by name... this is really pissed me off.  remember this number 202-356-4641

How do these people know your name??? They call now and if I answer they hang up on me! How do we get them to quit?

I just got a call from this new number. A young woman with a foreign accent says she was from the U.S. Government and I would be receiving a grant. I thanked her and told her not to call me back again. She didn't miss a beat, but they told me she would be calling me back every day! I tried redialing the number and received a recording saying the number wasn't in service. What a crock!

This guy who has Chinese accent told me that I got a grant of $7000 from Federal Government.  I do not believe the guy and keep questioning him back in odder to know who he is and where he is calling from.  It's hard to understand his English.  He asked me how many times received a call like this.  When I said I do not want to receive his grant.  He told me that I am stupid and then hang up.  I called back and got a recording that this number is not in services.  This is a scam.... do not waste your time with this.

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past 2 days.  Said they were with the federal government and I was chosen to receive a $7000 grant.  When I told him that I work for the government he said, "What!" and then hung up.

This number 202-356-4641 constantly calls all day long. I just can't take it anymore. While at work, it doesn't matter the time.

have been called 5 times today, asked to be removed from list and was told to kiss their a**.  When calling back this number i get that this number is out of service.

This caller said I qualified for federal grant money $7,000 that I didn't apply for and that I could spended it anyway I want.  Well I have file for grant money before for college. Went on book and classes and had to maintained a certain grade average
