Have called my house phone and my cell phone asking for the person who pays the electric bills. I don't like anywhere near DC i have Ooma

They have called the last four work days straight on my home phone. We are on the do not call list. When I pick up, there is no one there. Whoever they are, they just need to stop.

calls says hello a couple of times then hangs up

They have called my home phone twice today with out any response or message.

Called once today, at 5:57, and once yesterday at 3:51. Caller ID is UNKNOWN. No message left.

This call came through a minute after a call from 855-200-0427 was rejected by my new phone's Call Block feature.   Not sure if the two calls are related but I added this number to the Call Block list too.

Afternoon phone call to Florida:  lowest of the low life's  Didn't answer

Calls but hangs up on my machine.

Getting calls from this number.  Caller listens to ensure the phone is answered and then they hang up.

Lobby your state representatives to outlaw the COMMERCIAL use of robo-dialers! These should only be available to state, local, and federal authorities for EMERGENCY messaging ONLY!

You have not kept up with the laws concerning robodialers, have you?

So, unless you gave WRITTEN consent to a company, ANY use of a robodialer IS illegal.
Did you really think telescammers would obey the law?
After all, criminals do their thing... no matter what the law says.

In other words, stop depending on "the government" to protect you against everything.  Try helping yourself.
In this case, consider buying a call blocker from your favorite store if nothing else works.
