I received a call from this number and they left a voice mail. The number they called from was from Washington D.C. but the number to return the call was a California number (949-416-5129). They were calling about a federal student loan that I paid off years ago. When I tried to call back 5 minutes after their initial call, nobody answered the phone.

Called my cell from this number and left another number to call 949-416-5129 about my student loan. Umm, no. I called back left message to remove my number. Which most likely will not happen. I never applied for one, as I received a scholarship. Graduated with honors. I surely would like to know who applied and used my contact number.

I received a call about a student loan which I don't have. When I pressed the number to speak with someone, no one answered the phone. When I called back, there was a recording that the number isn't working. Definitely a scam.

I am sick and tired of these calls. "Cassandra" leaves the message and it is a return call to California. Like many I declared that I wanted removed form this list. they keep calling. I am almost 60 years old. I have no loans and graduated college before "Cassandra" was born. If I could find these people I would kick their butts around the block. The I would put them to work in the sun digging ditches. Manual labor is good for the soul.

How many times will you allow them to call before you obtain a call blocker?  Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.

Some scamming ho named Cassandra who claims she is with a student loan forgiveness program and uses language making you think it's urgent and an emergency to try to get you to call the alternative number she gives in the voicemail. Definitely a scam, considering I have a federal student loan that in no way is going to be forgiven for ANY reason any time soon (in fact, I just recertified an income contingent payment plan with them). Also, this chick's tone is unprofessional and is more proper for some gross party club on a Friday full of fake-tanned blonde [***].

They called about a student loan I don't have. They keep calling and when I return the call no one picked up. I tried pressing 7 to remove my name but they've called many times since then. Same as everyone else here.

I answered the call and said hello. They immediately hung up. I called back. The recording says the number is no longer in service. lol
Its nice to find comments here explaining the number is a student loan scam. Ive gotten several calls recently from these kind of companies. I told one friendly rep once that I didn't think I had any student loans and they should probably remove my number because they are simply wasting their own time. The friendly rep named Jacob said they are simply calling everybody. At least he was honest and white and American.

They keep calling me about student loans tht I have never had.. When I try to tell them so they hang up and call again the next day.
