- HowDoYouSayFUinAmish?I read elsewhere the people associated with this number are claiming to be the federal government & telling us we've won a $9,000 grant.
Gee, ya think now that they're impersonating the feds to commit their crimes, maybe the feds will get up off their rears & do something about these thieves who've been besieging private citizens by phone all day & all night?
They've made my life miserable with my landline, so I gave that up. Now they're harassing me on my cell. Maybe it's time for me to ditch all my remaining electronic communication devices & join an Amish nunnery or something.- Caller: Federal Government (Not)
- jimWoman called stating I was eligible for a $9000.00 federal grant. Hung up on me when I told her to stop talking. :)
- Caller: some bs company
- Alberottosame as others,$ 9000 windfall waiting for me. Very thick foreign accent. I said hold on while I call the police.
He kept on talking over the top of me even while I said I would trace the call. I finally just hung up. - JasonClaimed to be from the us government, had strong Indian accent, reception was bad and after I asked him to repeat himself twice he hung up on me. Called back and Verizon said it wasn't a valid number. I think the scammers have a program to make up numbers that appear on your caller ID so they can't be easily traced. Darn, I was really hoping to tell him to f*** off.
- Caller: some scammer
- ChantelMan with thick accent called me on Monday. After several times of me saying "what, I can't understand you" he told me that he was from the US Government. He then began telling me that he loves me, and him and I are going to get married. I asked him over and over again what he said, and he just kept saying that sane thing. I told him that he better not call my number back again, and he said that he's going to call me every day, because he loves me. I told him that he had better not call me ever again, or my husband would kill him. Then, I told him to f*** off, and hung up on him. He immediately called me back, but I let it go to voicmail, and he left no message. He called me back from the same number yesterday (Tuesday) in which I let it go to voicemail again, and again he left no message.
- Caller: said was The US Government
- BRDallasSame as other folks. Called with thick foreign accent that government had a grant for me. Did not ask for my name or anything identifiable. Hung up on him.
- Caller: Unkown
- RGdifficult to understand accent with background noises. said I was selected to receive 9000 grant from federal government. listed some restrictions about not using it for illegal purposes, etc. cant send a check, needs a "reloadable card" to credit. I ask how to verify his story & he said forget about it
- M-bizzleThey tried that same $9000 grant thing on me. They asked what I wold use it for, I said I was going to buy a pony and some new shoes. Then they asked for my bank account info, I said I didn't have one, and they hung up.
- SingleFemaleI received this call approximately 10:34 AM. My cell stated "District of Columbia." I let the phone ring multiple times & finally picked it up. No one responded. I recently relocated to Louisiana.
